Congrats. My break is more “I hate feeling low energy next morning” than anything.

I am on a three month alcohol break. My energy level is way up and feel better all around. I am 45 and only was drinking on Friday/Saturday. I am/was active but alcohol was taking those gains away. My energy and fitness level is way up since starting the break.
This is common with my friends in their 40s. A lot of us are on some journey of giving up or cutting back alcohol.

re: Could Houston or DFW support a second pro sports franchise in the same league?

Maybe hockey or basketball in DFW. Cowbitches are sacred here and DFW area sucks as a baseball town.
re: What is the longest running TV show you have seen every episode of?

Idk exact numbers but South Park is probably it. I’ve done binges of “Cheers” “Cosby Show” and “Mary Tyler Moore Show” in recent years.

Let’s just do away with sideline reporters all together.
They are useless in all facets.

Got to qualify this. I was a bartender in college . I slept with all the hostesses and half the waitresses. In a white collar profession post-college, zero.

Two phones. If there is any sort of data spill/hack for company data, company has right to seize the phone. So the work phone is just for work.
Further, no one at work has my personal cell number beyond a few coworkers I consider friends outside of work

Rangers did it a few weeks ago with Kumar Rocker. He had almost 7 IP after coming into game in second inning.

Yes. When college baseball gets prominent coverage, you know it is a bad time on the sporting calendar.

There is video out on them now. No way is this the last thing coming out on these two. They were total idiots and there is 10 year digital trail just waiting for TMZ to expose. It’ll get two point over either people don’t care or it becomes a huge press distraction for Pats.

If Downs is available at 8, I’d be ecstatic if Saints draft him.

Idk if that is real. He is not going to keep his job if this is true. It will be every where.
re: How often do you go to church? Be honest.
Posted by CunningLinguist on 4/22/26 at 1:02 pm to UFFan
We try to go every week but usually miss once a month. Both of my kids are involved the youth groups there so that is really why we go as often as we do.
re: In your younger days, how shy or bold were you about asking a girl out?
Posted by CunningLinguist on 4/21/26 at 10:21 pm to chinhoyang
I was never shy about asking girls out. I got rejected a lot. That rejection taught me how to project confidence in myself that paid off later with girls and in my employment.
