Seek Jesus.
I absolutely believe the idea that Mavs traded Luka to flagship media market in a handshake agreement so that they’d get to draft Cooper Flagg. The odds were 1.8% they get top pick. They did a few months after Luka trade.
That is a good investment for the new buyer. Good or bad, these kind of investments work out over a long enough period of time

My daughter and SIL live in Roanoke between Ft. Worth and Denton. Seems to me that the growth is in that direction. Argyle, etc.

Correct. The Northlake/Argyle/ west Flower Mound growth is insane.

I live in Southlake and work in Arlington for the last 12 years. To me, it is the same. Arlington was never a sought after place to live. The better areas were always south in Mansfield or north in Grapevine/Colleyville/Southlake.
I am wealthy enough to be able to buy any luxuries that I want within reason. I cannot afford a yacht or whatever but I have never stopped myself for self indulgent purchases. My biggest waste of money on myself is golf at this point in my middle aged life.

Damn. He was great in Varsity Blues

I am probably only person here to say this but I thought he was great in Rules of Attraction. That was a movie I loved that is generally reviled.
Friends is pure garbage. It was and is meant for women and gay dudes.

They are like 5 years apart on theatrical release. Was this really a debate? I don’t recall this ever being a thing beyond some bro talk or whatever.

The Wrecking Crew (Prime)

It stars Dave Bautista and Jason Mamoa as half-brothers who avenge their father’s death. I thought it was a really good action movie. The sequence on the highway with the minivan and helicopter was really good.

The comedy was solid and music was solid yacht rock vibe.
It was a decent rom-com. My wife has read the book and loved it.

Corporate pandering at its finest. Rather than celebrate American culture with the greatest truly American spectacle of the year, we use the moment to pander to a select community that consistently fails to assimilate and support American culture

Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico, which is part of the United States. How is that not part of American culture?

Seems like traffic is worst around 4 and not as bad a bit after 5 I know part of that is school traffic but just seems worse lately.

Got to be a Louisiana thing. DFW traffic is way worse at 5 vs 4 pm.
Rangers farm system is putrid. The others have cannot be that bad
My wife was a tomboy and so is my daughter. Wife played all sorts of sports and was a college athlete. My daughter is both maybe? Idk. She plays soccer and softball but it is not super competitive about it like my son who is the athlete of the too. My daughter plays like she has an older brother but is obsessed with all things princesses. I feel that is pretty normal for a girl that age.

t it’s really odd that the Eagles struggled mightily to find someone willing to take their OC job

All the OCs all get fired after 1 year or become the Saints HC. Hurts is a locker room cancer and the secret is out on that now.
Foodie hyped restaurant

Teslas

Depends on the rules….generally you cannot do that unless one of the parents works for the ISD. At least it is that way in my ISD.

I tried to tell her, her Church only started in 1500.

That is so cute that Catholics think they are the one true church even though history says otherwise.
