I've never heard this about an 80's Queensryche performance. They were absolutely fantastic live from what I've heard.
I saw that tour. queensryche was great. it wasn't that they sounded bad or put on a bad performance. it was more that the complexity of their music was over the typical ratt fan's head.
The pairing of those bands on that tour was strange.
I liked ratt, but on their best day, they never sounded this good live.

he's an older gentleman & his website is outdated. his pickups are as close to original vintage as anything you'll find.
call him and tell him what you're looking for. he may talk you're ear off, but you're guaranteed to learn something and get a first rate product.

for me, no band has put together a run of records as good as the ep-empire.
although one can make a great case for metallica, I prefer queensryche from that era.
each record is very different in style, but there's no mistaking who it is.
didn't like much they did after empire. tate's voice went downhill as did the writing.

Saw them in 86 in Dallas, fantastic show. Not sure I'd have much of an interest in seeing them anymore. Still love the music but you gotta hang it up sometime
They were at the peak of their musical abilities then.
I like the new song, but wouldn't see them now. Although Richie Faulker is a fantastic guitarist, KK Downing & Glenn Tipton are Priest. Downing retired from touring a few years ago & Tipton recently announced he would no longer tour.

Yanks manage just a run on three hits against porcello, who was 7-14 (someone has been hitting him) entering the game and lose 5-1. They drop 5 behind the red sox.
Judge strikes out again making that 37 straight games with a K. He's 3 for 40 against Boston since the all star break & has just 7 hits in his last 48 at bats. He's also had a few lapses in the field recently. Time for him to sit a few.

14 runners left on base. Yanks have to lead the AL with runners stranded in scoring position. they're the worst at being able to come up with a clutch hit to put teams away.
Where Boston is going to make you pay if they get an opportunity. they're just a much better team than the Yankees.
Right now, I have no faith in this team even making a wildcard. they've still got about 6 more games against the red sox. they'll be lucky if they can win 2 of those.
