Hard to know who has more when they all appear wealthy. Have friends and family who always drive nice cars and have massive homes. A cousin of mine drives a 200k vehicle and only flies first class. He's in the medical field and has several locations around the country. I can go on about his lifestyle, but I think he makes a million a year.

You cant always tell by lifestyle. There are good ole baws around here worth millions who drive a ten year old pickup and whose idea of a big night on the town is ordering from the menu instead of going through the buffet line.

Founder and CEO of a company I used to work for. He is worth 1.5 billion, or at least he was at his peak. Workaholic who never takes a day off and is always on edge. Very involved in the company and could probably name 3/4 of his employees and probably hates half of them

A gentleman worth close to $2 billion. Owns more fiber optic cable than any other private person in the world. There are public entities that own more but not private.

If I restrict it to friends and people I know around my age (older Gen Y/Millennial), then a good friend from high school got very high up at Uber (near C suite) and then cashed out his options and is basically a stay at home dad at this point. He’ll never have to work again if he doesn’t want to, and he’s 31.

I know several friends’ dads and have some acquaintances/professional contacts who are older Xer’s and Boomers who own pieces of major pro franchises, politicians, worth nine or ten figures, and the like, but most of them are a generation or more older than I am.

Old money; almost bought an NFL team; owned two banks

Soon-to-be family:
