if the donut is good enough, you can't be discerning about the quantity then devoured.

Krispy Kreme when they're hot, but it's impossible to get them hot in BR without risking your life driving to North BR

One single donut at KK is $1.99. Screw that.

Whatever one chooses, if they can get there at five in the morning as they come out of the oven? That's the best time.

A true treat growing up over there. That honey bun was delish!!!!!

A Jay's Honeybun was something else. That, chocolate donuts, and Saturday morning cartoons made for a great start to the weekend.

It’s actually sad that the answer is Mary Lee. Every time I’m in town and in-laws pick them up for breakfast, they always seem more dense and heavy (or whatever the opposite of light and fluffy is).

But sadly, unless someone is up for driving to Evangeline and Plank for Krispy Kreme, Mary Lee just has to rain disappointment on the morning breakfast.

Shipley depends on the operator because it's a franchise. Around Houston l, they're either super good or terrible depending on the location.

Shipleys as a franchise has declined in tastiness over the past 30 years, but it's still my go to. Even more than Mary Lee's.

I prefer the variety of filled donuts that Shipley's offers over Mary Lee's. And their glazed donuts, when fresh, is about the same as a Mary Lee's.
