re: Sell The Team

I agree with almost everything you said with the exception of sell the team and you’d be happy to see it thrive somewhere else. Idk if yall remember how it was like NOT having an NBA team but it was no fun being an NBA fan and having to travel hours to go see a team play much less your favorite team play the nearest team.
This situation sucks and it does not look like it’s going to get better soon but I’d rather have a shite team to love than not. How many Seattle fans are happy with OKC success?
Can’t wait to see him break down this film on his “Mind the Game” podcast with his next coach.

Cal State Fullerton honorable mention. Idk what they look like today but back in the day they were nice.
Thanks for the posthumous pardon, for nothing. Still won’t get him where he deserves to be…HOF
Made me sick. He comes home from work and oldest son getting kicked out. Ruby says you gotta go too. His response…..
Oh, ok.
No fight, debate, communication, etc. Just said ok and left. And not being able to contact his kids????? GTFOH. Dude has some culpability.
After watching I was hoping his youngest haven’t been returned to him. Latest reports I found said he’s currently trying to get them back. F that dude.
Watched 1st episode and Justin Theroux killed it. He’s hilarious and Chet Hanks is surprisingly funny although him as an NBA player is ridiculous.

Not basing my opinion on politics at all. (If I wanted to I’d post on the Poli board)

I started as a LBJ fan but he lost me a long time ago. Here’s my reason I said what I said:
1. Taking my talents to South Beach.
2. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4…..
3. Although he won in Miami and Cleveland..I’ll throw LA in there although it definitely has an asterisk in my book. Was he THE guy? I feel like DWade was probably the reason he won in Miami and Kyrie in Cleveland.
4. His advent of the “super team”
5. His leadership role in the load management position.
6. His lame reasons when he fails. “Check the stats” T shirt.
7. His runnings of the organization he plays for. He got coaches fired, run GM’s, made them trade for his friends, DRAFTED HIS SON, etc. (got his podcast bro hired as coach…poor JJ is destined for failure)
8. I agree with what OP said, he IS awesome at the head down, shoulder down dive to the rim but other than that, what exactly is he known for?

He’s not a good shooter, not good defensively (other than the block on Iggy). He’s at best a slightly above average scorer and below average defender. The only reason he has the scoring title is his longevity. Everything is about him and that was his main motivation to get that record.

He’s not, never was and never will be the goat. Hot take here: Idk if he is even top 5 all time. He never “led” a team to a title. He has lost more finals than won and I’ll end my debate with….Klutch Sports. He and his friends running/ruining the NBA for over a decade.

TL:DR- His ego, his decisions and his friends have ruined the league, if not a minimum of the 3 teams he played for. He has overstayed his welcome. Retire. He ain’t winning a title again.

As well as ruiner of teams and the league overall. Not to mention his All Star Sunday spectacle. Great specimen of a human to wait until hours before the game to say you’re not playing. Could’ve been a real “face of the league” type of guy and let his spot be given to someone deserving. He needs to retire.
I think he’s a good (sometimes great) college player that is going to have a tough time translating to the NBA. He’s slow and likes to play back to the basket offensively. The game has changed where that isn’t valued the way it was 10+ years ago.
As a Michigan fan I was pissed he left but understood with Juwan at the helm and NIL money. He just doesn’t fit Kansas DNA.
3 appearances
3 wins
GOAT?
I mean we put all the stock in stats. Do I think he is better than Vince, Jordan, Nique, Spud, etc.? No. But the announcers put zero respect on the fact that he’s the first and only three peat dunk contest winner. So there has to be some debate. Any other player and any other contest this dude would be spoken of as the best ever.

re: New Marilyn Manson album

Yep came out a few months ago. I almost went to Biloxi just to see him open for FFDP. Supposedly another album coming soon. Like a Part 2.
For show. Little worried about Haaland injury for Real. Not that I’m very confident about winning that leg anyway (no pun intended)
That was rough. Figured a draw after the Haaland goal and then the roof collapsed. It’s gonna be a rough month or so but excited to see the new guys integrate. Idk why but I feel like we have a puncher’s chance against Real.

City making me crazy.
Agreed. As big of a KDB fan I am I think the writing has been on the wall for some time now. The CL against Chelsea where he broke his face, the following CL against Inter either the hammy. The injuries have piled up and he hasn’t played like himself for a while. We get glimpses of old KDB. Maybe he will sign a team friendly deal to stay and retire at City but in these new days of Saudi money, he could make more in 2-3 years than he ever made in England.
