Burbank at Walkons seems like an easier fix yet it continues to flood repeatedly.

If it doesn’t inconvenience me or anyone else I’ll let someone in only if I know they’re going in the same direction as me. If it’s someone trying to cross 6 lanes of traffic to make a left and expecting everyone to stop to let them through they can sit there all day.
And once you’ve seen a photo of her without makeup you will never trust a woman wearing makeup again.
Thanks. Makes me care even less about the future of the mall.

The problem is they will still congregate wherever law abiding citizens are. Top golf, LSU tailgates, etc. The only thing that will work is to make them uncomfortable. Bring the national guard in. Watch every move they make. Loud music, a fricking light show in the undercarriage of their cars, driving like idiots, etc - pull them over. Take them feel as unwelcome as you possibly can. To hell with the optics. A lot of people criticize our current governor but he’s exactly the type of person you need to fix this problem.

We also need to start letting businesses know why we will not be returning. You can bet your arse L’auberge won’t let that mall shite happen on their property. Places like top golf, etc need to start adding more security and removing people who do not belong. I don’t have all the answers but amputation will not stop the cancer from spreading to the next living part.

Martina McBride was always attractive to me.

The hammer dropped. I may not agree with him on some things but after this press conference I can look past those topics. The passion and delivery was exactly what we needed after hearing the weak speeches from everyone before him.
A lot of people don’t realize the impact this has on the community. Events like this change the trajectory of things more than we realize at the time. Anyone who has been in that mall in the last 5 years can see it’s already struggling. It was a slow burning fire and today a barrel of gasoline was dumped on.

The shite happening in the top golf parking lot, the dodge charger races down the interstate and Burbank, the burnouts happening in major intersections, etc. - all of that contributes to this downward spiral. I know I’m reconsidering where I will bring my loved ones and I’m certainly not the only one. How many people decided to never set foot in that mall again after today? We all knew this was going to happen sooner or later when you see the clientele in that mall. As shocking as it is, this is not surprising.

Meanwhile we are talking about safety as it pertains to inspection stickers and dedicating resources to inspection sticker checkpoints.
I’m pretty sure the mall is city of BR and the anchors (maybe not all of them) are St. George.

ETA: It’s not just the hallways. All of the non-anchor stores and hallways are city of BR.

re: Food poisoning

You never know how full of shite you are until you have had food poisoning.

I had it once about 30 years ago and it’s something I will never forget. I was sleeping on the bathroom floor for two days.

Since then I can’t count how many times I’ve told someone “you don’t have food poisoning because if you did you wouldn’t be outside of the bathroom right now”
Perhaps I misunderstood. I thought only specific parishes will need the sticker.
It’s going to be really difficult for them to have checkpoints if this passes. Right now every car in Louisiana has to have a sticker so it’s easy to enforce in a checkpoint or drive by situation. If they do checkpoints and people don’t have a sticker they’re going to need to do a lot more work to determine which parish you live in.

Just make sure your inspection sticker is not expired for safety reasons.
The judges woukd never allow that.
