We've had weekend soccer games since the first weekend in August, but I think yesterday's game, at noon, in Lafayette was the worst. The temp was in the low 90s but the humidity was over 60%. Most of our games have been over 95 degrees, but humidity under 50%. Brutal.

Ill take a stab and say the last 10 days or so in September. Maybe stretch it to last two weeks of September.

I have a soccer kid, was at that tournament all weekend and can confirm. It was miserable. I don’t know how those kids do it.

I don't expect much cool weather for another month or so. We'll start having temps like 88/68 soon which I suppose is a mild improvement.

They are saying September 21st up here. High of 92 will feel like heaven.

It’s just warmer these days this time a year than when I was a kid (80s/early 90s). I’m not political so don’t start w any of that BS.
But it just is. Sucks.

High in New Orleans today was 93. High in New Orleans on 14 September in 1987 was 93. So yeah man, you’re right!
