If my wife did not wear makeup she was still very pretty. But, she did not think so about herself. If no makeup, she would don a pair of large sunglasses to hide behind if she ran a quick errand. Yes, hide behind……. I would chuckle.

An extended family member of mine just got married a couple months ago. He's in his early twenties and in love. The girl he married wears a whole lot of makeup. We were hanging out one day shortly after they got engaged when I asked him if he'd ever seen that girl without makeup. He said no, snd I just looked at him and shook my head.

Fast-forward a while to a couple weeks before the wedding and I asked again if he'd ever seen that girl without makeup. He again answered, "No".

If they are waiting until they're married to have sex then good on them and maybe he hasn't seen her before bed or in the morning. But if they are hooking up or living together there is no way he hasn't seen her without makeup.

Has he never seen her shortly before bed or in the mooring? Or never hopped in the shower with her? She ain't sleeping with it on that's for sure. Hell or even been around her on just a lazy off day.

That seems virtually impossible if he had been with her for months.

But I’m not sure why a guy would recommend banning it. Personally I don’t care about women’s makeup. Whether it’s like my wife with light foundation or complexion corrector or a woman who cakes it on like she’s applying for clown school, it doesn’t impact me either way.

I likewise wouldn't care either way. However, the money and time spent on hair and makeup is frequently cited as a uniquely female burden, and is further frequently cited as a burden imposed on them because of beauty standards established by men.

If women generally acknowledged that the time and money they spend on hair and makeup is for them and/or for other women, that's fine. When it's cited as evidence of the overbearing patriarchy, it becomes something else entirely, in my opinion.

Fiancée but I prefer when she doesn’t have a ton of makeup on, which happily isn’t often. She also doesn’t really believe when I say I like her without makeup. Women have been conditioned to think they have to wear a lot.

Mine hardly ever wears any. Her skin is a natural olive color, and she takes care of her skin. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
