Not only the before and afters in terms of looks, but personality wise? I’ve noticed women become much less confident, less opinionated, and often isolate themselves without wearing makeup.

Seems like a superpower that should be banned from the workplace.

My wife hasn't worn makeup in 20 years and I prefer it that way

She thinks she looks worse than she does, all she really wears is a set of small eyelashes, doesn’t do eyeliner or lipstick or any of that, she’s naturally beautiful and for that, I am very lucky

An extended family member of mine just got married a couple months ago. He's in his early twenties and in love. The girl he married wears a whole lot of makeup. We were hanging out one day shortly after they got engaged when I asked him if he'd ever seen that girl without makeup. He said no, snd I just looked at him and shook my head.

Fast-forward a while to a couple weeks before the wedding and I asked again if he'd ever seen that girl without makeup. He again answered, "No".

I advised him to get out there in the bright sunlight and hose her down good and look for body filler and bondo, and check for any creases or dints and dings on the main panels.

I prefer mine with none or very little makeup.

As I am sure most guys prefer in women.

Haha RIP. Save him by asking him to demand to see her without makeup before the wedding. Otherwise they may get a divorce like this poor guy: LINK

This is pretty much impossible if they lived together or even only had the occasional sleepover. Or ever gone swimming. Or any of a million other very common things

I actually prefer my wife with no makeup or minimal makeup. She puts on a bunch of makeup at times and I always tell her I prefer her without makeup. And I'm an a-hole for making that comment by the way.

I’ve said it before, but when women say “they do makeup for themselves”, that is actually partially true. It’s a social-status thing with other women and many would say they have to do it.

More like a self-inflicted curse IMO.

But I’m not sure why a guy would recommend banning it. Personally I don’t care about women’s makeup. Whether it’s like my wife with light foundation or complexion corrector or a woman who cakes it on like she’s applying for clown school, it doesn’t impact me either way.

I’ve certainly done worse, but a 10 she is not.

my wife is 59, a Scandinavian from Minnesota, and wears little to no makeup, nor does she need to. My daughter is 22 and does not wear makeup.

Mine is Brazilian/Lebanese so even in her 40s she has never worn a ton because she has great skin.

My wife is awesome.

Former Division 1 track athlete.

Almost 66 years old and has the same figure she had at 30.

A natural beauty. She wears very little makeup.

She also has great fashion sense. She knows how to mix and match stuff to enhance her natural assets.

Not a super-model. Just a very pretty and classy woman.

When we are out in public, it is not uncommon for other women to approach her and give her compliments. They also ask about where she bought her clothes and where she gets her hair done.

The best part is that she doesn't spend much to pull it off.

I am truly blessed.
