Of the states I've lived in for at least a year (CA, AL, GA, AZ, UT, HI, WA), Alabama is my least favorite. Mostly because of the summers.

I've lived more than 3 months in the following States:

Louisiana
Texas
Oklahoma
Maryland
Virginia/DC
Alaska
North Carolina
Georgia
Oklahoma
North Dakota
Wisconsin
California
Washington
Nevada
Florida
Mississippi

Cali was beautiful, and weather was amazeballz but SUCKED for CoL, taxes, people drug it down. That was 2009 for several months...heard it is worse now.

DC sucks...
Baltimore was like living in New Orleans but without the fun, just the constant threat to life and limb...

North Dakota is GFY cold...but the people are actually fun...even 80 year olds go out and party.

Louisiana is tough because it's home, and I can't live there anymore...

If forced to live in any of these places, if given a choice I would not move to Maryland...Cali is a close second. I would die in the cold of ND before going back to those places.

I have lived in Colorado Springs, Tucson, Minneapolis, Alexandria(LA) and Port St Lucie(FL).

From best to worst:

Colorado(amazing place to grow up)
Florida(South FL is awesome if in right area)
Minnesota(very unfriendly people)
Arizona(too fricking hot for me)

Louisiana(Alexandria should be all I need to say)

Cities that I've lived in are Br, Nola and NYC. Let me go ahead and spark some controversy that NYC would be at the end of my list at 41. It's not even close actually

2) Osceola, Missouri
2b) Patterson Louisiana

3) Monroe, Louisiana

Kansas easy. Flat, boring, people suck, terrible weather.

Also lived in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

I liked Texas the most, but would want a cabin in Arkansas to vacation to if I settle there.

Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and now Florida.

Mississippi is the worst by far. There is nothing to do except to drive to other states and their cities.

ETA: As a bonus, my time so far here in celebration FL is the strangest. Disney is an amazing corporation, but they legitimately might brain wash employees. Even their higher up executives I’ve meet with their construction side are all just off personality wise.

I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state.

Missouri isn't the greatest but you can't judge a state on spending basic training at a post in the middle of nowhere.

I’ll give you the others but you just have not been around the right people. I’ve had very very few bad interactions with anyone here. And that’s working as a teacher where bad interactions seem to be the norm

This. Aside from Pittsburgh, its the land that time forgot. Houses look like something from Amityville Horror.

But they have Sheetz, so that was a plus...

Have lived in SC, GA, TX, TN and LA.

LA is the worst from crime and economic standpoint.

But grew up here, family is here, left, moved back, left and moved back here again and will leave here in a Morning Call beignet bag.

I have lived in 5 or 6 states and Louisiana was the worst for me. There are amazing people and food in LA but the litter, prevalence of smokers, and “culture” was way worse than the good.

Texas has been the best. Great business culture, people seem healthier, a lot less “culture” and the economy has been great the 10 years I have lived here this time.

Colorado would be the best but the voters have turned that state to shite.
