re: Watching Once Upon in Hollywood.. - EarlyCuyler3
I felt the same way. I was really let down by this movie and had totally checked out by the end. Inglorious basterds will never be topped....

Piggybacking off of this comment with the origins of black metal. I've never gotten into Death. Vocals just aren't my thing. Extremely talented though....

re: PMI: Is it as bad as I think it is? - EarlyCuyler3
Problem there is that the area is such in high demand any place worth renting is astronomical. It's absurdly expensive due to the influx of people constantly....

Good point, thanks. I'm reallly just tired of being in apartment. So maybe I need to decide if I'm going to stay here beyond how long I initially planned or not....

I know what you mean, but the banks have no one to blame but themselves for 2008. The area around here is booming. It's the Huntsville area. I'm just not sure how long I'll stay. Depends on a few different things. But I'm looking more in Decatur which isn't as hot as Madison and the other are...

Not having to deal with an apartment will be nice. There's a lot of good stuff in here, thanks all. I will definitely pay over the note so I can get ahead early. Renting a house is even more cost prohibitive than an apartment. The prices for home rentals here are insane....

re: PMI: Is it as bad as I think it is? - EarlyCuyler3
This is true. I guess I'm thinking more in terms of having a fenced yard for the dog and the other things that come with a house. I do realize the upkeep and maintenance and upgrades are on me. Another thing is I don't know if I'll be there 5 years or not, so I may not build any equity at all. ...
If you believe home prices will continue to climb or it’s the only way to get a house for which you are desperate, PMI is viable. It certainly can be a good investment.
It kind of makes sense to me. I'm just burning money with rent. At least with ownership and PMI I'm building s...

PMI: Is it as bad as I think it is? - EarlyCuyler3
Researching this as I'm looking at buying a home in the next year or so. I'm not OT wealthy unfortunately. I know, money board but I can't remember to check that shite. So is it worth biting the bullet on it and start building equity and getting out of a rental?...
