My grandfather is currently 87 (born in 1929) that's the longest living relative I know of

Maternal Grandfather died at 80 and maternal grandmother died at 90.
Paternal grandfather died at 57 (murdered) and paternal grandmother 93.

My great-grandmother on my mom's side lived to be 99. They held this really big birthday party for her 90th because they thought she wasn't much longer for the world and she kicked around another nine years.
She was really sharp and active until the last three years of her life were altered by a stroke. She lived with my Paw Paw for the last 40 years of her life. It was crazy to me that he had his mother in his life until he was 80.
Anyway, she was a cool lady. Always gave us ginger snaps and let us watch Airwolf on her Zenith console tv.

Grandfather lived til 97.
Great Grandmother lived til 99 but I only met her once.

Not so sure. My paternal grandfather died at 63 from a heart attack after getting hit hard in the chest in an auto accident. Father had triple bypass at 69. Mother had a single by-pass at 63 and they fricked it up. SHe is still going though despite other health issues. But I have been going to the cardiologist yearly as a preventative for lipids and a stress ultrasound. He keeps saying it looks great. So maybe so.
My grandmother who loved to 92, beat cancer twice (breast at 75, then uterine). She died about 45 days after a stroke when did not recover from pnemonia.

Most all of my family live a long time I remember being at my greatx3s house when I was really young, she was like 104.Her husband made the Gentleman's Chest that my TV sits on.

Mom side:
Grandpa died in his 80's
Grandma is very ill but in her 80's currently
Dad side:
Both grandparents are in their 80 doing awesome
Side note: I had my great-grandparents up until my college years!

Maternal Great Great grandparents were 93 and 91 when they died. ( I was a baby)
Maternal Great grandparents lived to late 80's.
Maternal grandma died of complications to surgery at 79.
Maternal grandfather still alive

Great grandma hit 103. She smoked for 85 years straight. Quit when she moved in with her daughter

All of the women on my mom's side go into their upper 90s. My mom's mom will easily hit 100. No idea how my dad's mom is still alive. She's had 3 different types of cancer and battles melanoma, a stroke, a few head injuries, and broken hip, leg, arms, and shoulders. She's a tough old broad.
I don't see myself making it past 65....if I even make it there. The guys in my family haven't exactly lived the safest lives. I'm surprised my dad and one grandpa are still kicking

My maternal grandmother died on Thursday aged 93.
Fell and broke her arm a couple of months ago and never fully recovered...survived 4-5 days after the doctors stopped all treatment, food etc. Convinced she would have lived to 100 without that fall but at that age you need the little push over the edge and you don't come back from it

Maternal great-grandmother 98 and grandmother 90 - would've made 91 today actually. Hoping I inherited their genes.
