Paternal grandmother died at 96. Maternal grandmother passed at 101. The ladies in my family are quite long lived.

Both of my grandmothers smoked for most of their lives. Both had quit for about 20 years before they passed and neither passed from cancer. One just slowly passed from us. Like her battery just started running down. Both passed in their sleep without some long slow and painful death.
