Tim - I just saw your update and my heart broke for you. I have no words than can truly help, but I will be praying for you still....
Oh wow. I know Tim - used to work with him years back for a local engineering firm. I don’t post much - haven’t in years, so I know it won’t mean a whole lot...but he’s a great, real person. I was the only girl in an office of males and they introduced me to TigerDroppings back then. Good times. Pra...

How random! Yes, y'all are pretty far now though. Darn....

LOL Thanks! I teach 7/8 ELA too, and my husband also drinks a lot. Maybe there's a link here....

Ahh that's a lot to handle. We don't have kids yet....

You're a good man. My husband is a bit OCD about mess, but he helps out and takes care of me on the weeks when I'm really overwhelmed (like this one since I accepted a new job over Christmas break). I've been the last car in the parking lot every day this week, so him just kinda taking over a few ex...

It's not just her. I'm the exact same way. My classroom is beautifully organized, and I stay for about 3 hours after school every day getting things back in order and preparing for the next day. I can't function if my classroom is a mess. By the time I get home and cook dinner, I'm way too exhausted...
Same with my dad. He worked for Shell for over 40 years, bought his house many years back for $36k and wears clothes with holes in them (that are from wear but he claims are in style lol). You would never know what he has in the bank, and I love that about him....
One day you're asking questions like these and a few years down the line you're having emergency gallbladder surgery because you are this person....
Harry & David gift basket is usually a winner....
I get my dad a rack of steaks now. He's the type who just buys what he wants, but the steaks have been a hit for the past few years now. FWIW, I've gotten them from quite a few different places and so far he seems to like the Grade A Select from Ralph's the best....
Never pay full price when you can always find it on sale.
Amen - and then when I'm tired of it, I sell it on Poshmark and make a decent amount of it back!...
Coming from a female here...I do agree with the others that Coach is now past its prime and is seen as a brand everyone can afford, therefore making it less desirable. Once the outlet opened at Tanger, the appeal wore off quickly after. I personally hate any bag that has a logo plastered all over it...
It could very well be absolutely nothing. Women get fibroids all the time that are nothing to worry about. They can literally be caused from a bra wire or even caffeine intake. HOWEVER, I would always recommend going to the doctor to have it checked because of course there is always a chance it coul...

re: Why are dog beds so expensive?

Every now and then you can catch a good sale, but my little frickers will still lay on the floor and only use the edge of the bed for a pillow. I don't know why I keep buying them....

re: Who killed Halloween?

I was thinking about this earlier. Back in MY day, we had hundreds of trick-or-treaters, neighborhood haunted houses, and stayed out until we just couldn't hang anymore. Now it barely gets dark and everyone is already done. BOR-ING....
My first piece of advice is to step away from the computer. You can google about it and read about it, which will solve nothing, or you can step away and live your life with everything you have. I won't BS you and tell you everything is going to be okay because it's definitely a tough cancer to have...
Sounds like a good game plan. Once you cut out the sugar and processed crap, your body will stop craving it. I live a relatively Paleo lifestyle - it's been life changing. Be sure to cook things you enjoy eating, and don't be afraid to try some new ideas. Good luck!...

When people knew the difference between it's and its. Good times....
