Butch good time in NOLA ?

very good time...crawfish boil at Shaw was fairly wall attended (around 20 plus of 58 surviving)

got to see Pressure, decent movie and I learned a few things about Group Captain Stagg that I didn't know. Why the Brits didn't give him a knighthood is something I now wonder about.

had fun on Saturday walking the ships with D2 then taking the streetcar back the other way back to where we parked.

Yes this will be really off the wall, but considering the knowledge base and connections on TD as a whole, one never knows.

Did J.M. Stagg and Nash Roberts ever meet each other? It would have had to been after the end of WW2 because Stagg was in the UK and Nash served in the Navy in the Pacific.

This is something that would be a nice bit of trivia to memorialize in the WW2 museum if it ever took place.

For those who don't know Group Captain J.M. Stagg was Eisenhower's weatherman that made the correct call about D Day weather. Nash was a New Orleans institution first on WDSU and later on with WWL. He made the correct call about Hurricane Betsy among other things.
