I no longer go to the gym, my basic exercise is based on

Swimming - heart & lung
Dancing - aerobic
Sex - well being
Fishing - mental health

As stated above, I outlived all the runners and gym folks in my peer group.

My favorite are the guys (and ladies) on the treadmill with the incline all the way up while they hang on for dear life to the instrument panel.

The mummy walk. Love it. Such a waste.

I always laugh when I see the 40 year old boomers in the gym. Why do they even go? Planning a divorce?

You don’t really see any fat old people, do ya? That’s why.

Tell me you’re working out at Foxies or Calloways without saying it.

Why are you so worried about what other people choose to do with their time?

I automatically skip over every one of his post but the dude sure is consistent. It seems like he’s in every fricking thread I read on several different boards. It’s been this way for years. The guy is persistent, for damn sure.

One thing us old guys don't do is carrying around those magic black bags from station to station. What is actually in them?

My 80 year old father and mother go to the gym regularly. Both won world powerlifting championships when they were younger. Staying fit helps increase mobility and decrease the likelihood of falls.

Uh, studies show that one of the biggest mortality factors as you age is loss of strength. My uncle is 98 and has a personal trainer and he knows the reseat, and trying to get over 100. I laughed when his life insurance company paid his term policy, who gets their million before they die…. My uncle! So, go to the gym every day if you want to live a long time….all things being equal

You must lift at the YMCA

If you are seeing that many old people at the Y, shouldn’t it be called the OMCA. Old Men’s Christian Association, instead of the Young Men’s Christian Association.

I had a coworker years ago take advantage of a Y membership for the sauna. He said there was old man that would go in the sauna that was not shy about leaving his towel closed. He would often sit with a wide stance leaving big jim and saggy balls in full view.

Sounds like you're a bit jelly? Why you mad bro? Because we're in better shape than you, making a shite ton of more money than you and fricking all your little 20-something girlfriends? And you wonder why you aren't getting any?

Sit back and let the adult males show you how it's done junior.

This is such a douche post. I'm 57. I go and have gone most of my life. My routine has evolved over the years. I no longer try and lift heavy. I do far more cardio than I ever did. Heart disease is prevalent in my families history so I take a proactive approach. It's just smart to stay healthy.
