A 40-year-old would be a first year millennial or a last year Gen-Xer. The last Boomers were born in '64 when Gen-X took over.

Don't screw with Gen-X. You'll get hurt before you even make it to the Sonic.

Glad everyone in this thread believes in poor form and broken hips.

My hips are fine, at least your grandmother still thinks so

Keep curling those 15 pounders while you skip leg day Junior.

have a young friend, my daughter's(no pics,) age that has built a fairly elaborate weight room in his garage, he's an engineer so he approaches everything analytically, reads up on technique, diet, watches videos, etc., he and his wife were over for a crayfish boil Sunday and of course he's wearing a wife beater and shorts to show off the fruits of his labor, I almost had to stifle a chuckle, he's done a great job with his upper body but he obviously feels no need to give lower body any attention, it really looked out of proportion with those bird legs

Oh I thought this was going to be about their odd locker room etiquite.

Older men are vital to a robust men’s locker room. All these young kids need to learn the freedom that comes with old age.

Not really

The Boomer generation started in maybe 39 - 41 (kids born already but too young to remember the Great Depression or WWII) and got the postwar "good life" benefit. I would call the end around 55 to 58. If you were born in the 60's you got not Boomer benefits but got Gen-X problems.

It's more likely that nobody would fight him because they are scared of being the guy who knocked an old dude into hospice care.

I never understood this approach. Dudes will act like they're serious about lifting but neglect half of their body.

I'm proud AF of my legs.

That quiet old dude is probably a veteran who would severely frick up the younger posers and douchebags.

You sound threatened by their masculinity.

Are your daddy issues giving you trouble today?

Did some old guy out lift you......again?
