You NAILED it. That's the Boomer Generation.

I'll give you a pass and admit you as one of the vanguard of Gen-X.

Better than sitting on their arse on the couch. Maybe there form is bad bc their knees are blown out from jumping out of planes in ‘Nam. Frick out.

Anyone who rags on someone else for trying to better themselves by going to the gym is a twerp.

Focus on your own workouts inside of wondering about their saggy balls and bad form.

Dear Pansies of the OT,
This old man did Murph in under 30 minutes. C&J 255 as well. That’s what I’m doing in the gym. I’ve noticed most of you youngsters don’t know much about trading, form, or programming.

this is limited to 65+ YO men?

i see men of all ages doing this shite all the time.

quarter rep squats
benching with bar not even coming close to chest
arching their back and thrusting to get that 50 lb dumbbell curl.

I’ve been lifting weight since I was 13 and won’t quit till I’m In the ground. My boss is damn near 60 and used to powerlift. I know he can kick my arse. I could tell in his initial hand shake.

I’m 60 and go to the gym regularly. It’s probably why I still snowboard, mountain bike and kiteboard. I figure, if I keep working out, I can do all of that until I’m 75. But being a 41 year old couch potato is probably fine for you.

I'M 66 and go three times a week for about the past 12 years. I work out mostly on the machines with lighter weights. I know I will never be a Mr Olympia but for the past 10 years, my only doctors visit is a once yearly checkup. I go because it makes me feel good and helps keep me healthy. I plan to go the gym until I die if possible.

My favorite are the guys (and ladies) on the treadmill with the incline all the way up while they hang on for dear life to the instrument panel.

Franco's in Mandeville is mostly either creepy old guys overusing the sauna or milfs looking to bang the tennis instructor.

The Boomer generation started in 1946 with the exceptional number of births that occurred after the end of the Second World War when men returned home after the war and made up for "time lost" while they were overseas. This was known as the "baby boom" and thus the Boomer generation.

Not disagreeing just telling you if you watched what those born DURING WWII did they had Boomer traits and not Silent traits. In essence they were the "early adopters" even though they were not categorized as Boomers. I know this age group pretty well and know the reality vs some marketing guy trying to grasp the low hanging fruit.

Just like if you were born in the 60's you are classified as a Boomer but you are really the early adopters for Gen - X

If you wanted to know what the folks born in 46' or later would do, you watched what the war babies did as to how to invest in future trends.
