That depends on how good the food is. People put up with an awful lot of BS at Popeyes because the chicken is so dang good.

If the food is really good I will put up with the bad service. If it's not, I will just never go back.

The better question is what recourse for shitty service do you have if gratuity is included? I recently paid automatic 18% gratuity and had a terrible experience.

If the food is bad I never go back and I will not send a dish back to be cooked again. I just chalk it up as my loss.

Bad service depends...if the waiter is bad but i have had good service there before i will return

If it's a chain and one employee, send complaint to manager. If it's the staff or cleanliness, complain to district management.

What's the point of complaining? get on with your life and simply don't go back there. If they want to offer shitty food and/or shitty service, they'll eventually fail as a business.

My service was so shitty at drago’s in Nola before an lsu game that I didn’t tip at all. frick tipping them if they put out zero effort.

Define bad service

I define it as a major problem such as ignoring the table for extended amount of time or unacceptable rudeness. Or the food taking an absurd amount of time which isn’t the fault of the server.

Some people have a low threshold for “bad service.” Not enough ice in the drink, waiter wasn’t cheery enough, etc. frick these people
