Hit by a drunk driver when I was 22. Broke several ribs, clavical, fractured several vertebrase, and scapula, collapsed lung, lacerated spleen, and had an 8" gash running from the back of my head to the front. Recovery was a bitch.

When a piece of food got stuck in the hole from wisdom teeth removal and then it healed shut....
I had barely sat down before they cut the hole open and started sucking everything out. It just felt like the suction tool was positioned straight on a nerve.

nevermind I take back my previous 2 posts
the most painful experience was during my hippie running days of running barefoot where my pinkie toe was snagged on a root and I almost completely ripped it off
and I was like 5 miles from my truck and had to walk back
yeah...that was excruciating

My first migraine.
I was living in Austin but had driven to Houston to attend my cousin's wedding.
It hit me early on the morning of the wedding. I went on a coffee run with my sister and cousin-to-be and I wasn't feeing well...I ended up passing out in the elevator on the way back to the room. Once I came to, I continued trying to get dressed and ready but I was collapsing and vomiting. I couldn't see and couldn't walk. The pain in my eyes and head were excruciating.
I had to skip the wedding, and we had to call a doctor to actually come up to my room and give me a shot in my butt. I couldn't move. I was convinced I was dying.
I missed the entire wedding, and had to leave Houston a day late because I ended up sleeping in at my (other) cousin's house and couldn't leave until I was functional.
It was horrible and I would not wish a severe migraine on my worst enemy.

I have 2.. Pilonidal Cyst lanced was one and the second was when the doctor nipped a vein during my vasectomy and caused a hematoma that swelled my nuts to the size of a volleyball for a month. Grown men do cry!

About a year and a half ago I got really sick, which hardly ever happens. The headaches went away after a couple days but after a week of diarrhea I finally went to the doctor. Didn’t test positive for the flu so I don’t even know what I had. Anyway I got really bad hemorrhoids. It felt like my butt hole was on fire. Could barely sit or walk. I swear, it hurt just to lay down.

I had a second back surgery and was taking 120 mg of morphine every day. Opiates cause constipation and I had gone without shitting for two or three weeks without even noticing. It was football season and I decided to drink beer for the Bama football game against Arkansas so I skipped my morphine for the day and drank beer instead. Two hours later I felt my bowels move for the first time in weeks and it hurt. Badly. So I go to the bathroom and try hard to push the monster out to no avail. I realized that I should go to the hospital but I didn't want to be embarrassed so I went back to the bathroom armed with vaseline, a towel and a spoon. It was ugly. Sweating bullets, shite on my hands mixed with a significant amount of blood and it finally came out. Couldn't flush it. Had to get it out and put it in a bag. I had just given birth to a monster. More painful than either back surgery and I learned to use laxatives daily to combat the numbing of my colon from opioids.

Both related to rotator cuff surgery -
the night after the surgery when the nerve block wore off and the pain pill could not carry the load
when the dr. removed the sling and my arm just dropped. I almost passed out

Gout in left big toe.
I've had broken bones, including an open fracture, car wreck, wisdom teeth, and whatever else.
Gout attack on a Saturday morning, this was pre-walk in clinic days, and could not see the Dr. until Monday AM.

Had blood ot in leg after back surgery. In order to check it when I first went to hospital with swollen leg they attempted to run dye through leg for ultrasound scan of some sort. In order to do it they had to try and put IV in the bottom of my foot! They tried 5 times and were never able to find vein. Worst pain ever!!

I suffered a compound fracture on my lower right leg during a freak accident in 2014. 2 bones sticking out my leg. Since I was in shock I felt no pain. I was rushed to the Lake but it was the ER nurse’s first day so she didn’t really know what she was doing. She lifted my leg and I screamed so loud that I’m sure people at Copelands across the street heard it

Didn't look that bad when Steve McQueen did it.

Infection on my leg. Couldn’t drive, walk, sit, or lay down without horrible pain. It felt like someone was just pounding a hammer into the wound constantly.

Haha, I can kind of relate. I had to give myself an enema a few days after back surgery because of the opiate induced constipation. The only pain though was squeezing my sphincter hole shut while I slowly lowered myself onto the toilet. Once I sat down and expelled was seemed like gallons of liquid and impacted shite, I felt awesome.

Pancreatitis. Nothing else comes close.
