Agreed but recognizing a drug overdose in the setting of all of these other health issues, especially in the heat of the moment with an out of control criminal, is a tall task. ...

When a normal person is exercising or exerting energy their coronary vessels dilate to allow more blood flow to the heart because it’s beating faster. A person with 90% occlusion is already maximally dilated at baseline, so there’s no room to dilate more to accommodate for the increased heart rate. ...
