Uh, no. Haynes King was responsible for over 400yds total offense in that game, including over 300 in the air and a combined 5 TDs. We on this board actually watched that game. King literally had the game of his life and was throwing dimes all over the field. Riley Leonard is no Haynes King.

The key is a true dual threat QB, not a glorified RB. I don't know how today goes, but if Riley Leonard is missing his shots and struggling through the air, I think UGA gets the win.

Haynes King was dicing us through the air and it kept the run open. Haynes also benefits from the genius known as Buster Faulkner.

Very concerning for your future health if at 400+ pounds you can't lose weight in a college football program. I'm worried for him.

Yea, he really needs to bring that under control. I'm impressed that he's able to function on a college football field at that kind of size. 350 is insane to see moving out there and he's a whole 6th grader more than that.

re: Indiana or Notre Dame

I think this game turns into a slog fest with a final score not seeing anyone above 20 points. ND should win, but Indiana can hang with them if they can drag the game flow into the proverbial mud.

The concept of Carson is at least dead, for the playoffs and probably moving forward.

it'd be a bit of karmic justice to get Indiana + Boise State in the playoffs to waltz into the title game. Can you imagine if we played Arizona State when we got there?

It'll be like the scene in Happy Gilmore but it's Larry, Vince, and all the deceased Ugas looking down and waving at us holding the trophy.

Indiana only played one ranked team all season, Ohio St. and lost by 3 touchdowns.

Notre Dame's best wins are (if you count ranking at the time of the game):

#20 Texas A&M 23-13
#15 Louisville 31-24
#24 Navy 51-14
#19 Army 49-14

Only Army is still ranked after that awful loss to Navy, and that's only because they won't release new rankings until after bowl season.

A&M went 8-4
Louisville went 8-4
Navy went 9-3
Army went 11-2 and won the AAC.

I'm a "count the ranked wins after the season guy", so I do not count any of these as ranked wins for ND, assuming Army drops out of the Top 25 for getting worked by Navy. These teams are all mediocre at best. Army's record looks great, but I don't respect that schedule.

ND also lost to NIU at home, and then spent the rest of the season playing Purdue, Miami (OH), Stanford, GT, FSU, Virginia, and USC.

I think we get served a massive cupcake either way the first round game goes.

Someone refresh my memory....did we hear this much whining the last time we went to the UK and only won 16-6

'22 was nothing but whining if we weren't playing a big game. We "struggled" against Kent State, had the Missouri scare, and the aforementioned Kentucky game.

'22 got up for the big games and coasted in the small time, and the fanbase as whole lost it every time we didn't win 48-7.

REALLY hope that kirby's mental hangup is a saban thing and not an alabama thing,

I do think Saban made Kirby overthink their matchups. He was trying to outsmart the greatest of all time and win on overthought strategy, when he was simply in possession of the better talent and team. Just line it up and let the guys play like they've been playing.

Still makes me sick knowing we would have completed the only modern 3-Peat if we just played like the UGA we saw for the month before Atlanta.

London Humphreys is a damn cheat code on go routes, the speed is unreal.

Went on the road to Bama in dynasty and the only thing that kept me in the game long enough to settle down their stadium was a few over the top drops in the bucket to him streaking to the end zone.

The kicking system is hard as shite though outside of PATs

The FCS (enter direction here) teams are not to be trifled with

Had me on the ropes 14-10 into the 3rd quarter, until a few breaks started going my way. They HUNH your arse and somehow have hidden studs at the skill positions.

Yup, let the experts and football lifers run the ship. Just sign the checks, sit back and enjoy.

Detrimental ego will always be a big problem in the billionaire ownership circles though.
Saban should start an exercise initiative to help gumps start running more than 1 day a year. Could single handily reverse the obesity trend in the South.
I've been receiving SI in the mail for 10 years+ now without ever spending a dime on them.

Cancelled my subscription in 2013, have zero money that has gone out or been collected by them, but they just keep sending magazines to me.

It was already a dying business, but I can't imagine their stellar business practices enabled them to adapt with the times.

He 1,000% knew that but there's nothing a coach can do once they're back there.

He was getting ready to field a punt in front of 93K fans and a national TV audience with an entire season's worth of work on the line.

Now have 10 freak athletes (punters don't count) fired out of a cannon directly at your body and keep your eyes focused on the sky above, and see if you can remember your own name in that moment.

Probably the program who loses regularly to UA and UGA and who hasn't won a title since dial up internet.
I've enjoyed how FSU fans have tried to write this loss off.

They can talk about not having their opt outs all they want, but the audacity of that program to think that they were above the Orange Bowl...

They got snubbed, but they've been living in the CFB cellar since Jameis left for the NFL. This was an opportunity to showcase how good they were and try to get one over on the back to back national champs. They could make a statement and go out on their own terms, but instead took their ball and went home with tears in their eyes.

The program who has spent the last 3 years ruling CFB with an iron fist was invested enough in the Orange Bowl to bring most of our players, but a program who has spent nearly a decade in the cellar is too good and has everyone but the water boys opt out? Lol, ok.

My only regret is we didn't hit 70.

UGA will get no credit for beating FSU regardless of the score.

They'll hide behind the opt-outs on their side, but I want to boat race FSU into oblivion. Their fans are by far the most annoying on social media and having a NY6 blowout against them will be a satisfying end to the year.

We need to wash the bad taste out of our mouth and grab some momentum for 2024

A fun game is enough. I don't care for tech when we're not playing them, so I'm in the market for entertainment value for this game.

Tech has reached such a little brother status that I don't see them as a threat in the slightest
