Piccadilly in Houma. Made a solid $3.35 an hour and it was rough washing dishes / pots. I eventually made it to the line to serve sides and breads. That's when I started making the sweet moolah!

Mom and pop clothing/fashion store.
Basically just a janitor...sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning toilets.
Eventually added sales but had no commission and still had to clean the shitters.
After that a Bus Boy at an all you can eat catfish restaurant.
After that, walmart...manually pushing buggies up the blacktop hill in Mississippi was no joke. You absolutely could never keep up. There were no motorized assists either.
Then, college.

Summer job as a construction labor on a commercial project. Digging ditches, tying rebar, pouring concrete, cleaning bricks, carrying sheetrock, sweeping, etc. That'll toughen up a kid over the course of a summer between 10th & 11th grade. Definitely made me want to make better grades.

Sacking groceries at Big Star supermarket in Many.
Sometimes the shifts were from 8 to 8. We got off around 9 to 9:30 after cleaning the store. I think it's illegal for minors to work that long now.

Best and most fun I've ever had at a job.
All my friends worked there.
Good memories.

Fun Fair park, ride operator before getting moved to concessions.

Worked at a movie theater in the early/mid 90s. All employees start in the concession stand, it is the grunt work and you stay about an hour after close just to thoroughly clean up all the nastiness. It looks pristine that night and in the morning until the first few movies start, then it looks like a fricking pigpen all over again.
