After all, SG sexually harrassed her and tried to ruin her "business".

Jesus, people cannot actually believe their own BS can they?

Yep. Still lacking context, budget, school plan, etc. I hope they fix these soon...but the “hey we’re not BR” isn’t going to work.

The biggest reason why people didn’t support them, or decided to annex into BR was because of the massive amount of uncertainty and minimal information.

Parents understandably want to give their kids a chance to succeed. They feel they don’t have that in Baton Rouge because they think the schools suck . Why they suck is secondary although I’ll be happy to explain that to you if you need me to. When you are a Big Boy and have kids you will understand what responsibility to your children is all about. All your decisions involve their welfare. Pretty simple. Putting them in Tara or Broadmoor or Belaire isn’t very good parenting if you can possibly avoid it.

Why would this destroy the public schools? They should have the same money and less students.

BR people: OMG our public schools are integrating let’s leave the schools (destroys public schools creating segregationist “private” schools) Same BR people: I shouldn’t have to pay for my white school, taxes should cover it. Let’s leave the city (they fail, but then divert all tax dollars to their development divesting from other areas destroying the majority black schools and communities) Same BR people: if they want to use our tax dollars for “black issues” and not get rid of the Mayor like we want we’re just going to leave the city (there’s a common thread here in regards to schools and communities, but it ISNT education or community development)

All of these anti-St.George people are doing their cause more harm than good with their rants.

I wish the people who were the most outspoken and defiant about not being racist would look in the mirror and realize that THEY are the most racist ones. That's why everything is about race to them. They just cannot go a day with seeing past it.

Catholic High is over 100 years old.
How old is Sacred Heart? St. Agnes was old before they closed. Catholic schools have been around BR for a long time.

I'm glad they are taking that tactic.
There is no guarantee a city leads to an ISD.

Last time I thought that they needed to go a better job showing how SG the city would be better than what we have now as far as city services, better control of our tax dollars, etc.
Now they have a restart and a chance to show that.

Is it a race issue or I want to leave poorly run government for we'll run government?

I will NOT be silenced.

If people would actually talk TRUTH then these fake narratives wouldn’t continue for very long. But instead we want to be “polite” and try to “all get along”. frick that.

You're right. Polite's over. I wish you and people like you would die in a fire. I'm tired of the divisiveness that people like you fricking feed on. I'm tired of you and fricksticks like you couching EVERY SINGLE frickING ISSUE in racial terms. I'm tired of seeing my money squandered by ignorant politicians. I'm tired of the constant downward shitshow spiral that you and yours have set Baton Rouge on. I'd rather people of your ilk just disappear, gone one day, leaving Baton Rouge to prosper.

How's that for some truth? Find the closest fire and dive balls first into it so we know that at least you can't spread your ignorant gene any further than you already may have.

You will still have to deal with poorly run parish services and the surrounding parishes aren’t much better at most things. St. George isn’t gonna be the paradise people think.

If you want well run government you need to gtfo of Louisiana.

It is just that more and more people have decided to no longer concern themselves with the problems of blacks.

People have enough problems as it is, so who can blame them.
