I'm sure there are some that feel that way.
Just saying there are likely many that only say that to make themselves feel better about having to pay for private school. That if they lived someplace with great public schools...their kids would go there in a heartbeat.

The OP/Kibbles does have a point to some extent. St. George is supposedly about formulating a new muncicipality to form a school district. Because the State Legislasture told them no when they asked for an ISD (I don’t agree with the State, FWIW).
Then the St. G website has next to nothing about schools on it.

It has nothing to do about race as you are implying and more to do with wanting remove themselves from people who have no desire to improve their lives and the lives of their children.

Black parents with money don't send their kids to ghetto schools either.
The 99% black school near my house is a good school. No tolerance of disruptive students. The students requested uniforms. Ghetto parents who want drama get ignored or run off.
