You are off your rocker. Cruise control, and even adaptive cruise control, is the jam.

I just told my wife after our 14 hour trip to North Carolina- I don't think I could have done it if we didn't have adaptive cruise control. It seems like such a little thing, but constantly adjusting your cruise for traffic when going through a large city like Birmingham or Atlanta is really tedious and adaptive cruise gives you one less thing to worry about. It's probably my favorite new gadget/ bell/whistle in cars.

The first one that comes to mind is that stupid leg move that opens your truck, worthless and doesn’t work.

Wut? Even my shitty arse Ford's version of this works flawlessly and has for 205k miles. It's a lifesaver when you carrying groceries something bulky etc. I've used it way more than I thought I would.

These giant 21-22 inch tires they like to put on everything.

Now this I can get on board with. At a certain point, they are too big and just don't look good. Some vehicles come with 23" and bigger, and that's just stupid looking IMO.

ETA: I forgot that my Edge has park assist, and I've never legitimately used it. When I've "tested" it, it frankly scared me with how fast it tried to whip into a spot.

I do not use the automatic parallel parking feature.

The few times I could have, I just forgot about it and easily did it myself.

I don’t use it more because I don’t like parking on the streets where drunks, bums, and other criminals can be careless, reckless, or intentional with damage to the vehicle. I also don’t trust other drivers who may whizz by just a couple of feet away. So I usually look for parking lots or parking garages.

It’s been a high of 50 the last 3 days in my area but the sun is shining hard and feels great.

I’ve had my sunroof open;)

Cars now come with a freaking DVD or something on the features, hell mine maybe able to give me a blowjob while cruising down the road, hell if I know. Seriously, anyone ever watch or go through that thing.

Of course my damn car cake with an extra cooling radiator towing package but no tow bar. The salesman said they were 1200 bucks but 200 dollars anywhere else. I have had car for 4 years, just put a tow bar on it

Adaptive cruise, if I’m correct, is when the truck is in cruise it will slow down to match the speed of the slower vehicle you are approaching.

I hate that. I can’t turn it off so I turn the sensitivity all the way down. I want to approach the slower vehicle and change lanes to go around it, without slowing.

When I see a car that’s been following behind a slower car for a while suddenly swerve left and speed up I suspect they weren’t paying attention and their cruise matched the slower cars speed and the driver just blindly sat there not noticing. Until I approached from the rear and began to pass. At that point the dullard driver wakes up, realizes he’s been following the slower car, and pulls over in front of me.

Aggravates me to no end.

Cruise control. I drive the car; I don't let the car drive me

Sunroof is right up there too.

I'm the complete opposite.

I put on the adaptive cruise control as often as I can. Had a 3 hour drive last week and barely touched the gas pedal the entire time on the highway.

Also love the panoramic sunroof. Keep the liner back almost at all times unless it's direct sunlight coming in.

Not a premium feature, but that bullshite stop/start system that automatically kills the engine drives me insane.

There should be a mandatory option to permanently set the default mode if the driver chooses to do so, without having to press a button every single time.

I'd say for me, it is apple car play. Partly because mine still requires a wired connection. All i'm generally using my phone for is playing music, so bluetooth works just fine. Car has its own nav system, so it just isn't a feature I ever use.

I prefer android auto over the in nav system in my car. Mine is also just old enough to still require the wired connection as well so I get that pain in the arse

I HATE lane assist, and you have to dig through the manual to figure out how to disable.

Paddle shifters. Never used, and I drive like a mofo, but the computer is faster than me when I put the hammer down.

Adaptive cruise control sounds like a good idea. The first truck I had it on was the one that would slam on the brakes at 70mph if you were passing a high reflectivity vehicle, like a tanker truck. Die in a fire, literally. I've never used it, on any vehicle, in over a decade. It also turns a ton of drivers into half Tesla drivers (barely paying attention to spacing, what other traffic is doing or about to do, etc.)

There is on most models. I've disabled it on many Fords.

The wireless charging. The CarPlay in my truck only works when I connect my phone so I never use the wireless charging thingy in the console

Call me a bitch but I love my heated steering wheel. That’s a nice option

The fold down shifter in my truck. I thought this was for road head mode but my ole lady won't cooperate so the feature is useless

Mainly overbraking at random car lengths

Possible. I've got a '23. It is pretty consistent in that department and can set different lengths you want to use. I've been surprised how well it does, especially when soemone quickly gets in your lane. I have seen that complaint from others I know with Toyota's, so that may be something their system is just really sensative to.

Not going to hide it, this is me from time to time. I use the shite out of my cruise control, and sometimes I just don't realize when my car has slowed down a little and just get caught in driving. But I at least wait for the faster car to pass before changing lanes.

Automatic high beams are my WTF feature. Live in a neighborhood with a lot of trees. I will light up some neighbors walking around the neighborhood if one of the kids pushed that button while playing in the car. They also like to trigger when driving through fog at night on a dark highway

I get that complaint, but also it kind of defeats the purpose of the adaptive cruise. I know some allow the adaptive to be turned on and off as well as set the distance allowance, which solves that problem.

Great one, didn't think of that. never use it

I drove a manual for over a decade, so I was sure i'd use them some. Nope
