Im in financial planning, and obviously robo advisors are available with any institution, but most clients prefer working with an actual human. I do think that this changes as the years go by, but I don’t see Boomers flocking to robo advisors for financial matters. I think this might be more common with Millennials and Gen Z going forward though

No, but what you'll see is top advisors able to take a lot more clients because AI will free up so much of their time and they'll put most ther advisors out of business. AI will create leverage for the best of the best.

It doesn't matter if I can be there for a delivery at 2 AM, if I can't get unloaded before 11 AM.
Very few businesses operate loading docks 24/7.
It's a very complicated scenario, and driverless trucks won't automatically change anything.

Automated truck loading and unloading systems are already in use. No need for someone to be there.

I’m a content writer; meaning that I write stuff you don’t want to read, but I write stuff you must read, and I’m feeling the AI pince.

Teachers are very high on the safe list. Covid proved that. All the “virtual/distance” learning etc failed overwhelmingly. Just showed 5-18 year olds don’t have the commitment/drive/discipline etc to do it without an adult sitting next to them making it happen. While the information can certainly be presented by AI the kids won’t sit there and listen to it without an adult making them…..and of course most parents want nothing to do with that.

But with improvements in AI the client could easily feel like the robo advisor is actually a human. And that’s all that really matters, that it “feels” like they are talking to a real person.

Trucking AI cannot make the decisions a human can make. Example: Boy runs into street, you cant hit brakes to stop, and there is a mother and child in stroller on left, parked car on right. correct decision is hit parked car, AI cannot and won't be able to make that decision. Believing it will is foolish, automated trucks and cars have killed people already, and most accidents are paid off, and hush clauses put in. Amazon and Tesla have paid off several suits.

Once AI improves to the point that self driving vehicles are statistically less prone to accidents, they will take over.

How are millions of self driving vehicles going to interact in traffic?

How often does a driver have to wait for something?

Quite a bit, waiting get loaded and unloaded. I had to sit for a whole week in Boise, Id. once, in the winter, because the local beer distributor had no room to put the beer they ordered.

In the near term, most "desk" type of jobs will be replaceable with machines. Machines can be better doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, and CEO's than humans. Of course, in something like medicine or law there will probably always be humans "in the loop."

In the long term, machines will replace humans in the manual labor fields as well.

And the more unnerving thing about AI is it will replace humans in relationships. Give me an OT 10 "Stepford wife" any day over a human woman. (And I am sure women will feel the same and get involved with "male" AI's). Humans will no longer reproduce and go extinct. Machines will inherit the earth and then move out into the galaxy where they will encounter other machines that have since taken over their respective planets. These machines will advance enough to where they will be able to create their own simulations of entire universes with people living inside them. People like us.

Not sure if I'd say Pharm is AI proof...

Drug interactions are available on apps, and critical drips can be mixed via robot.

I think one could create a algorithm for a robot.

I do agree with lots of Healthcare jobs where it's critical thinking and hands on simultaneously.

So the humans aren't so great at logistics?

U.S. companies cut over 80,000 jobs last month, up 20% from April, according to the report by Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Reasons for the layoffs included market conditions, restructuring, and buyouts but also, for the first time, A.I.

The nearly 4,000 A.I.-related layoffs were all in the tech industry
