Podcast says LK let 4 inbound players go and 1 flipped that he probably wanted to keep. So 5 players, not looking up names.
Got one in Canada back in the day. Didn’t pay. Got letter in mail saying I couldn’t renew my American drivers license until i paid. Didn’t know if it was legit or scare tactic, but didn’t wait to find out.
“Nobody wants to be on the floor more than Zion. This guy loves the game, loves this city, wears this logo with great pride. The bottom line is, get back to work, all of us. Everyone that is available, it’s work time. Nobody is feeling sorry for us.”

This is from the head coach. Why does the organization feed the fans this garbage. It’s ok to keep quiet than looking like idiots.

Zion Williamson is out another three weeks.

For those scoring at home, he now will have missed more than 55% of games in his career.

He will have been paid $129.9M by the team, meaning the Pelicans had paid him roughly $71.4M while he was on the bench.

You have to get out of the mindset that everybody thinks like you. It’s not for you, fine.

Tied 17th all time.

Unofficial list #26th all time.
Understand but I thought the targets were hill, davis, and jordan.

This is how you describe a rookie 10th man off the bench. Yet this is praise for the Pelicans superstar in his 7th season.

Is that still favorite after Campbell Soup executive rant?

re: No excuses for Vele now

I’m not gonna get caught up with what word anybody is using.

Would I prefer Vele or the 4th round pick. I’m choosing the 4th.
Tons of teams and businesses hire friends and family. I’m more interested in if they are qualified and doing a good job.

Saying others don’t know their plan…. It’s November, what plan are they wanting to know. Team traded its draft pick, but I’m assuming every year you scout players.

Any team, if you tell the entire org the plan, they then go to the media. If the decision makers know the plan, what is the problem?

Both teams suck, I just don’t understand who else is supposed to be aware of what moves Joe wants to make. Do we want a SP / Mahomes situation.

Next year's guaranteed portion was indeed removed from Brandin Cooks' contract, saving the Saints nearly $2 million as part of the agreement to release veteran WR.

I will always be confused by this. Why did everyone think that, because he could dunk ?

It’s just like a great college player who can only shoot 3”s. At the NBA level, you need a more rounded overall game to be what you described. Especially in the current era.
