Was the Libertarian Party ever libertarian?
Not since I started paying attention over the last 20 or so years. Seems like the actual party attracts freaks that dont give a shite actual policy (non-intervenist foreign policy, Austrian economics, etc.) Half the party just wants to be able to do whatever queer shite shite they want and not be told no (gay version of anarchists) OR squabble over party administration and Trans rights (even gayer version of democrats).
Sucks that the winning policies are gatekept by losers

Was only a matter of time before eating out came up. No idea why this board is willing to accept a declining quality of life vs calling out the politicians who wrecked your currency and forced you to make sacrifices that just a couple years ago you never would have considered.

I might be done with this show. That was a good twist I didnt see coming but son of a bitch if Common gets more screen time I have to quit.

Just looking for some sort of excuse after their model "got loose" and hacked another AI company. Obviously OpenAI isnt responsible, the singularity is here.
re: Belgium / France / Luxembourg World War Trip - August

We lived in Luxembourg for a few years. Its a small but really beautiful city. Weekdays get pretty busy, ~300k people commute in for work but then on weekends maybe 100-150k people actually live there.
- Casemates. A fortification/tunnel network around the city center. Used in the 1600s for defense.
- 2nd highest per capita in michelin restaurants, lots of good food. We liked Ciche, not Michelin by any means but started by a Syrian refugee. Really good Mediterranean food.
- ~100 castles within a 2 hour drive. Vianden is in a nice river side town and well kept. Burg Eltz is also close, you've probably seen pictures online of that one.
- WW2 sites also within an hour or two. Patton's grave is in lux city, was walking distance from my apartment.
- Mosel river nearby, lots of great wine
- Trier is a nice college town, roman ruins in the city center. Not worth a trip on its own but 30 minutes away

Big showdown with the Golem and a Fatima-led contingent of monsters to take down MiY?
I took it as the Golem stuff was all foreshadowing and now that Fatima is a monster she is the golem.
What happened? I searched the soccer board but they're too preoccupied with the world cup

Yep. Tariffs has a revenue driver is dumb. Tariffs as a threat to keep European faggotry inside European borders is smart.

How do we define mainstream here? How many boomers watch you? Joe Rogan already crushes 60 minutes and all other network/cable news numbers by millions every episode. Why would he ever go back to a dying format? Some serious denial and/or gaslighting CBS-shilling 'brand experts'

What is wrong with him today?
Just pointing out that homelessness is a problem, CA is corrupt, Karen Bass is a retard, etc and all that resonates with people. Guy I was responding to simplified all of that into we must think a reality star is a role model. He could be, could not be but thats not the point.
quote:
like he’s some ultra-successful role model
Nobody is saying that. Pretty sure the consensus is he's got some common sense views (get homeless drug addicts off the street), excellent campaign videos, and he's not Karen Bass or Gavin Newsome. Thats a way better candidate than CA puts up and even if he doesnt win it will be helpful to press the fire, homelessness, waste and corruption issues.
No one is saying they want their kid to grow up to be Spencer.
