I do love a live oak. There’s just nothing like em.
My favorite are probably Aspen trees. I never feel more at ease than at a cabin up in the Rockies watching the leaves change. Life doesn’t get any better IMO. Especially when you’re up there knowing it’s still hot as hell back in Louisiana.
I love pecans but I hate a Pecan tree. I’ve picked up enough Pecan sticks for multiple lifetimes. They were everywhere growing up and made such a mess. My dad would get mad if we hit them with the lawn mower. Same with Magnolias and those stupid cones.

Mulberry - don't know how many times I've pulled truck over after seeing a mulberry tree and eaten my fill. In Fort Worth, Miami, Opelousas, and many other cities.
Sugar Maple - Sugar Creek in Claiborne Parish use to be my favorite spot on earth.
Paw paw - love seeing them in woods, have some here at home.

Gotta be magnolia. I spent most of my youth climbing and playing in the massive magnolia tree in my grandma’s front yard.
As someone who has 11 of these frickers on their property and a wife who refuses to let them be removed, all requiring pruning every year….frick these trees.

I have always liked Magnolia trees. Great smell.
