Live Oaks are amazing.
Bald Cypress are beautiful.
Persimmons are tasty.
Mulberries are also tasty.
Pecans are great.
Loquats are tasty and make good wine.

I love trees. Worked a summer with the US Forest Service and came to appreciate them.
1) Live Oak Seven Sisters Oak, Mandeville, LA
2) Bald Cypress - hard to beat a moss draped cypress tree in a swamp.
3) Longleaf Pine
4) Royal Palm
5) Canary Island Date

The Willow tree is my favorite. During fall I love the Aspen tree because of the beautiful yellow leaves

Crepe Myrtles are very tropical & look great but hell if planted anywhere near a pool.

The royal empress is a strain of invasive Chinese trees but they were genetically modified to remove whatever causes them to be invasive. Supposedly once theyre fully grown, you can cut them down and they'll regrow again.

Do the seeds actually germinate. The info i wrote came from a tree growing site and they caught ny eye. I have a pretty hefty rock formation under my property and my options on trees are limited.
