I fear that Dedan will come back and we’ll find a way to go 8-10 and he’s gonna somehow keep his job

Hence why I said this is a fireable offense. South Carolinas coach is getting fired this year too
It’s like we play neutered. Nobody tries to create or just rely on their basketball instinct

McMen..

I’ve considered myself one for quite some time. I think we are severely underfunded but this is indefensible. Should be fired at halftime. The program needs new blood very badly, it’s dead right now
There’s no defending this. Time for new blood

All teams have injuries. McMahon is paid well. He better figure it out

All teams lose the SEC leader in assists!
I’d say 95% of people are in between. They just don’t care enough about basketball to be vocal. Also they don’t hate themselves enough to type back and forth with Madking on a Friday evening
Official SEC injury report. He clearly got hurt sometime between Wednesdays presser and tonight. Would you have rathered Mac go live on insta from the facility while they have Dedan on the training table?
Best player gets hurt in practice and we’ve got a thread full of fan fiction

It’s the SEC man. You can make a class with top 75-100 guys all you want and it won’t be able to compete with 1 5 star surrounded with ready to go top $$$ transfers. HS class rankings are misleading

its better to have one 5 star than ten 3 stars. but you can assemble a good class rank with a bunch of mid players like dji bailey and Jordan Sears.

This is a good point. Class rank and success shouldn’t be hand in hand. Just look at the people who’ve made those classes up. Where are they now? How productive are they now?

I’m a bigger basketball guy than most and I’ll say I like McMahon. I think he’s a good basketball coach and more importantly, capable of winning at this level. I don’t think he’s going to overachieve though. I think if he had top 5 money we’d be top 5 in the conference. I think that LSU hoops would likely be better off with someone else who’s more fiery and inspiring and can demand the required funds it takes to be competitive in today’s SEC. McMahon can coach though and it sucks we aren’t the right school for him, but LSU basketball is a weird job that needs a certain type of personality (assuming we continue to neglect it)
Need to score a couple out of halftime or all the negas will flood the board
Long been a known thing that the PMAC has the softest rims in the SEC.
David Wright and Jason Dufner were both awesome

Is he still alive? He was our priest at St Michael’s in Crowley when I was younger. He was awesome. Always had smiley faces on everything
They finally go on a run and here come all the posters who were itching to see us fail

Frank’s magic is how he connects with the HS coach and the parents. You can’t replicate that with a 33 year old just because he had a good playing career
I think when Wade was here he had this thing where he’d run exactly one mile every single day and he had done it something like 500 days in a row. Hilarious considering he still has such a bad build
