Dad flew the Tigercat. It was his favorite plane to fly.

He dropped a nuke off a Skyraider ...only Marine to do so a d it had no nuke material but everything else was intact. I have the arming pin tbat Dad saved.

+1. Not the popular choice but it holds a special place for me as every summer as a kid we would go visit family in KS. My aunt lived in an apartment across the street from McConnell AFB in Wichita and I would watch them run touch and gos for hours. Something graceful about them.

I like the old Ford Trimotor plane. This one was also used as Lao Che’s plane in Temple of Doom.

Got to watch these badasses go out and intercept a few Russians and practice when I was at JBER a few weeks ago.



Also got to get in a C-17 simulator and do a little flying which was the most awesome thing I’ve ever experienced.
