Did he continue to fly post military? When I first went to work in the oil patch in the 80s we had a company man who flew B-25 bombers in WWII. I always thought that guy was so cool. Another guy I knew in school's dad flew the F4U Corsair off carriers during the WWII era. I'm showing my age but these dudes were high energy types.
