Taking the Lord‘s name in vain and using it as a cuss word or two different things. Brush up on your Old Testament, frick face.

I don't give a frick. Unless it's a little a kid, then it's hilarious.

Maybe brush up on Mark Chapter 3:28-29 and Luke Chapter 12:31-32. Either you are wrong or the Bible is wrong in two places.

I really don't cuss aloud unless I hit my thumb with a hammer, it is generally trashy and the Lord doesn't like it but
C'mon Coyote, really?

I don't believe they can repent for those sins.

I would suggest, in the industry that you are in, all you mfers are cursing up a storm.

used to curse a lot. After I had kids I quit. Not a fan of people who curse around kids, it's trashy.
My dad didn’t curse around us kids, so I figured I’d do the same with mine. They’ve never heard me curse and now as adults they generally don’t use much (if any) foul language with their own peers, I’ve come to find out.
The older I get, the less urge or reasons do I have to cuss.

Taking the Lord's name in vain is taking and using the Lord name in vanity
to serve one's vanity
but yote thinks cursing is the problem ,,
its ego thats the issue
he should ponder that

Well now. I'm thinking cussin' would likely be one of my best sins. I can think of forty eleven more sins that might be mo worser than cussin.
Good news, I developed a relationship with Christ some time back and without giving it much thought, most deadly sins have fallen by the wayside and am quick to apologize when one pops up from time to time. You know how it is in traffic.
Although I do think of rolling a dooby or rubbing a little salt on the tequila glass rim every now and then but it doesn't last.
I'm pretty sure He nodded and understands and all is good.

quote:Yes, you are technically correct. Let me revise my statement.
Except the unforgivable sin
There is no sin for which a genuinely penitent sinner should conclude that Christ's mercy is unavailable to him.

I cuss a lot. I try to never use The Lord's name in vain and I try not to curse in front of people I don't know, especially kids.
