I used to have quite the colorful vocabulary but saw that it’s just not a healthy way to express myself. Since mid 2022, I have avoided the need to curse.
However, anyone I know can talk as they please, makes no difference to me.
My BIL, holy mackerel, uses the eff word in almost every other sentence. He’s been that way for as long as I have known him. That’s about 37 years. I have to just SMH and chuckle.

I trust people who curse much more than those who don’t. They tend to be more real and authentic.

I didn't realize that I don't curse until my wife brought it up, we overheard someone in a restaurant using profanity, she said "I'm so glad you never curse."
"Really, are you sure?", it just didn't occur to me, it was not a conscious decision.
"Yes, it was something my mother really liked about you, my dad didn't either."

I think less of people that don't curse. Every guy I've ever worked with that was a non-curser turned out to be a massive weiner.

I live by the strict creed "Dieu et les Dames". So I do my level headed best to not curse in front of women.

Depends on the situation for me. I find it very trashy to do so around kids, especially young kids or being rude in most public places with a mixed cross section of people around.
To me, if someone can't get their point across without relying on being foul-mouthed, then they weren't raised to respect not only themselves, but others around them.
