Wear some sunscreen

Now tagged with Stage 4 melanoma. Lesions found in my liver a couple of weeks ago. I've had my first dose of immunotherapy and so far so good. I'm feeling fine and liking my chances. Crazy to reach this point because of "cumulative" sun burns. Thanks.

Did you purposefully get alot of sun exposure or just wearing tshirts working in the yard type exposure?

My grandpa used to tell me that sunscreen was for rich kids. Now I pay my dermatologists mortgage for a couple months a year.

Would like to know your height/weight and exercise routine esp running routine.
Seriously, how many times a week are you drenched with sweat from exercise? Feels like that fixes a lot of these issues before they appear. Sunscreen can be very dangerous as well.

I have a hard time blaming the sun when those south of us with no sunscreen get way more sun and way less skin cancer.

Pretty quick. I'd been seeing a dermatologist for about 10 years.

Can you just call and schedule one of these? Do you strip down and they look you over to find anything that might be suspicious? I don't know what I'm looking for but I spend/spent a lot of time running outside with no sunscreen so it's probably worth a check.

I am out in the sun a lot especially exercising. My Vitamin D was always good according to blood tests. I started wearing light and cool long sleeve shirts in the sun to protect my skin. Now my Vitamin D is deficient. I guess I will keep wearing long sleeves and just take more vitamin D in diet and supplements.

i stripped to my boxers and she scanned from scalp to toes.
i had a pre-cancerous one froze off the bridge of my nose last year..

i noticed a rough, elevated section on my nose that never flaked off and sometime itched. i brought in up at my regular visit. she deadened the surface of the nose, use a razor blade to remove a biopsy piece, then froze the rest off.
i had cancer and chemo 20 years ago for testicular cancer. i do not want to go through that again. did a colonoscopy at 45 (go back at 55), see my oncologist yearly for blood work, and get annual mole check for the past 4-5 years.

Arsenic, mercury, and lead are all naturally occurring elements that will frick your shite up so his point is shite.
