Explain fit and exercises? There’s a big difference in being skinny and stretching occasionally vs pushing weight around and running marathons.

Everything you say could be written in such a more less arrogant way. Some things you say are spot on but it’s your shtick thats doucherie

I've had a couple melanomas and more than a couple basil cell and squamous cell tumors. Long sleeves and hats, always.

Good luck with yours, OP. Mine were all cut off early. I strip naked for my dermatologist (she is kinda cute) every 6 months.

Was probably caused by the sunscreen

Hope you caught it early.

It's not nearly the same but I just got my third basal cell skin cancer cut off my face last week.

I have a standing quarterly appointment with my dermatologist.

She always finds several pre-cancerous spots to freeze off and every couple of years she finds either basal cell or squamous cell spots that have to be biopsied & cut out.

All because my parents would tell me when I was a kid, "Go out there and get some sun, boy! It's good for you..."

Why? Did you skinny dip during daylight hours frequently as a lad?

We don't think of our skin as being the body's largest, most exposed, and vulnerable organ, but it is. Sunscreen for everyone.

Skin cancer can develop anywhere there is skin. Melanoma does not require sun damage to form.

Go to MD Anderson annually after bout of it decade + ago. That annual visit is worth more than weight of gold. Seeing what others go thru….!

To you, all the best for full recovery. Sounds very promising. Keep it up!

He's kinda right. Food high in fats, sugar and cholesterol do make our skins health and ability to repair itself a lot harder than if you ate correctly so he's kinda correct. Alcohol is another factor in skin health. I've had sun damaged skin since I was young and every six months I have stuff frozen off my face and neck to help prevent skin cancer. Stay smart and out of the direct sun if you are light complected like me. It will pay off in your later years.

Ran the 2011 marathon in Austin. Was one of the last Livestrong ones. Sucks Lance had to do what he did because it was a good charitable event. Ran it again in 2013. My goal was always less than 4 hours. Did it once.

It’s been a while but registered for the Chevron in Houston this year. Excited about it and started training building up that base.

Benched 405 in college. Now just rep dumbbells. Barbell is a recipe for injury. Just repping the 70-80lbs. I’m almost 50. lol.

Lifting improperly is a recipe for injury, not the bar.

I lucked out because of my Mom’s bad luck as a teenager. She had a melanoma on her back that they were able to remove and caught very early. So I always wore sunscreen and was never allowed to use the tanning bed.

Sorry to hear what you’re dealing with.

lol. Not trolling. I’m that old guy in the gym picking on the young kids. I’ve got a buzz cut but we have a running bet if I do 315 on the bench I’ll try and grow some lettuce. Lol. I don’t do barbells anymore. Good kids tho.
