I remember when I was a kid and I got a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas from my grandparents on Christmas Eve night. I was so excited that I actually went out and shot it in the dark and cold a few times, Christmas Day I couldn’t wait to get back outside and shoot it. Ended up shooting a bird that Christmas Day, and my dad and grandad were so surprised and proud.

Those were the days.

Are remote controlled cars a thing anymore? I put more miles on those cars In the mulch landscaping pretending to be Steve Irwin than some adults put on their vehicles

Not here. New bikes, scooters, footballs, etc.

So strange - I was looking out the front window and the wife asked why. I told her I was thinking, "Why are there no kids out riding their new bike?"

No telling how many were inside playing their new video games when I said that.

The Steve Irwin snorkeling action figure is highly collectable.

Same.

I pumped up my kid's bike tires and away they went. A nice day too.

I walked for two hours today and saw a couple kids riding bikes. That’s it. Lots of adults exercising though.

First thing i noticed was kids playing outside today. Neighborhood had a few new bikes, a new basketball goal, and a new hummer type battery car.

Good day in Arabi

The kids at our gathering played outside in the backyard. It's safer than playing in the front yard with traffic passing closely. I even joined for a game of monkey in the middle between beers. It was a good day.

Two of my neighbors were mowing their lawns today. I guess that would have really ruffled your feathers.

So, 20 minutes?

We couldn't do too much here at my parents' house. Too wet to do anything.

We did have a great time last night with family. Bonfire and good fireworks we picked up in South Carolina on our way down.

My 3 year old got a battery powered 4 wheeler. We were outside by 7:30.
