We just had a state Senator (who’s clearly incapable of performing his job duties as is) on paid medical leave for 92 days.

There was a correlation showing an increase in miscarriages between vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals but, yeah, blame it all on less people wanting kids.

Yeah, that garbage “study” definitely carries more weight than the fact that the birth rate had been steadily declining since 2007…

I absolutely know people who will quietly say that they had “one too many”. Maybe it’s a generational thing, or a “how old the kids currently are” thing.

I meant “not wanting children” broadly. Simply “we are intentionally choosing not to have any/more children for whatever reason” as opposed to “we would like to have more children than we currently have been can’t”.

Wife and I have four kids. It’s a lot. Don’t necessarily recommend it. But each one is very special and I love all of them dearly. I’m sure as many as you have, you feel that way about all of them. You never really regret having a kid no matter how many you have is what I’m saying.

Having children is an inherently hopeful thing.
People talk about a dozen different reasons why people don't have kids anymore but they all sorta go back to people feeling hopeless in modern society.
It's why devoutly religious people still have lots of kids, they actually are way more hopeful that the average person.
