Hold the frick on. If I walked into my neighbor's house and shot him, I would be charged with homicide. Administrative leave would be the least of my problems.

It is just the formality of following protocol. No biggie.

I understand this. I'm saying how does a sober, fully competent, sane, adult female not know which apartment is hers

I can see it, but only bc it happened to me.

When I was in law school a dude 2 doors down walked into my townhouse USING the key for his. There was an AR in view when he opened the door (I wasn't holding it, I'd been building my first) and it freaked him out pretty bad. Thankfully for both of us I just assumed it was maintenance coming in in the middle of the day so I didn't really have my guard up.

The key part was fricked up, but our townhouses were identical and in a long row with pretty much nothing distinctive, so it wasn't that surprising. Walking from car to door while on the phone with bags - not all that shocking. Of course, he managed to not kill me.

The average citizen would be currently sitting in jail. The articles read / imply she is sitting at home. Not getting fired up, just don’t like the preferential treatment.

The South Side Flats are nice. Where did the shitty apartment scenario come from?

Had to be fricked up. I've opened the wrong door a time or two, but you realize you aren't in the right place immediately. Had a guy walk in mine last week, saw my roommate and I in the living room, and looked like he just about shite himself getting back out the door saying sorry

Are you going to bump this thread when this woman goes to jail like any other person would?

Why would she not immediately be placed under arrest?

The average citizen would have had to at least bond out.

Why does she get preferential treatment?

According to the Police Chief, as of this morning she hasn't even been questioned yet

Was she drunk when she walked into that apartment?

Yeah, you have to think more info is going to come out on this.

She was either hammered or high as a kite. Or these two had some kind of relationship -- romantic; drug dealing; some other nefarious relationship.

Reasonably intelligent, completely sober people don't just walk into the wrong home THINKING IT WAS THEIR OWN. That excuse doesn't pass the bullshite test.

Unlikely. And they didn't arrest her so they didn't check her blood.
