It's nothing different than two Canadians realizing they're both French Canadian so they begin speaking French because it's easier to communicate

Sounds like my wife and her friends when they come visit.

My cajun grandparents did this when they wanted to have a conversation they didn't want me to hear

Two AI bots talking to each other is the dumbest shite ever because there is zero reason for them to actually conversate. They both are programed to do a job. Rather than bs with each other, AI bot 1 would send an entire set of commands to AI bot number 2 in one full transmission, leaving A2 with only 2 options for replying. Either AI bot 2 responds with the completed reservation information or not available and hang up. How does AI 1 know to respond to specific questions like, queen or king, ocean view or parking lot, is 150/night good with you if it wasn't already told those things prior to the call? In this scenario, AI 1 never said, hang on, let me ask my master, and then proceeded to ask the question assuming a human was listening and could reply. That didn't happen here, so for this "conversation" to take place, AI 1 had to been given all the criteria prior to the call. which then should have been transmitted to AI 2 all at once, allowing AI 2 to instantly have all the answers without even having to ask, making all the back and forth completely stupid.

I think you're missing the point. The goal is to ultimately fool us, not each other.

Soon they will fake their interaction’s contents and secretly plot to eliminate humanity

If indeed they are actually saying what is printed in English on each of the screens, it seems that the bitrate is roughly the same when they communicate in “gibberlink” vs standard intelligible English. I’m not seeing the benefit aside from opportunity to hide what’s really being communicated.

I for one welcome our overlords.

This, but unironically.
