re: Is having kids worth it?

Once you have kids, you will understand the circle of life and why parents do dumb shite for their kids. Kids gives you another why, why to get out of bed and work hard, why to be better, etc.

The only thing hurt is his pride. He isn't playing another snap for LSU.

its one thing to be 6'6" and 320lbs, its another thing to be quick and bendy at 6'6" and 320 lbs. oh yeah, a brain helps too
I think it is priced very fair... no way you could build it now a days for that price.

re: Why do people hate Subaru

Last winter my buddy went to TN and they got a lot of snow. His F250 4x4 couldn't handle the snow on the hills and was stuck at his cabin for almost 2 days, meanwhile a lesbo in a subaru was driving up and down the hills all day long.
He is a very good DT, I just watched an interview of him on YouTube, seems like he thinks he buying moms and company houses with his NIL deal. Prob that the hold up.
BOOM!!! Welcome big man!

I have no clue what his hold up was, I can only assume it was because he had people trying to get him more money or maybe a Frank thing but either way, I could tell big Rich wanted to mail in the paperwork yesterday. He is a good dude and gets the bigger picture, i.e. fans and love over squeezing the last penny, much respect!
Those numbers are just what the school can pay, the collectives add to those numbers... probably double or triple what is in this article.

It sounds like Portnoy didn't end up spending any money on Bryce and just let the Ellisons take care of it.

Too much to ask for one of them to be a leader. Look at what LSU is doing, they blind if they worried about a coach.
Simple, you either want to be a tiger or you don’t. Trust the process. Look at what the fk is going on around u. If u worried about a bad coach, ur not paying attention. LSU don’t play.
I think he is a DARPA project with nanotech implants that allows him to read peoples brain waves.

In regards to Thomassie - In LSU’s backyard at Catholic BR with family ties to LSU too. Worth a look w/ our OL need.

I do know Blake Baker wanted LSU to offer Blaise, it was BK and Frank who wouldn't pull the trigger. The kid has offers from pretty much everyone but LSU but with Brad Davis as OL coach, its pretty easy to see why that was.

Blaise Thomassie should be on their board now... I still think he is the best true OL prospect in LA for 2026
i've lived in louisiana for over 40 years, the thought to attend a Tulane game has never entered my brain.
Make Diesels Great Again, get rid of DEF and ultra low sulfur diesel. Go back to tier 1
A parent who raised their child(ren) to adulthood owes their child(ren) nothing. If an adult believes they are entitled to their parents sucess means they were not raised properly. No adult deserves the right to tell another adult what to do with their money. I had aunts and uncles waiting on my grandparents to die so they could plan the second half of their life....as a child, I knew that was wrong. I have always told my parents do what you want with your money and remind them all the time that they can't take it with them.
Now, would I absouletly love it if they decided to leave me some money, Hell yes. It would be awesome, I could be less stressed and help pay for my kids stuff. Now do I expect it and would I think any less of them if they left me zero? Hell no, I love my parents and they did a great job raising me so I could go out in this world and make it for myself and live my own life. For me to expect anything more from them at this stage in life is bonkers to me.

The $53 million just thrown in a trash can to BK could’ve went a long way to cleaning up north Baton Rouge.

Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said 'give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'.

We have given too many fish to north Baton Rouge and it has only gotten worse. Democrats are too empathetic to make the tough decisions necessary to maintain a safe and civil society. Throwing money at north baton rouge is just enabling that behavior, not correcting it.

Things will have to get worse before they get better... let the cuts begin.

Glaring example of too many takers and not enough givers. The democrat solution of taxing the haves and giving to the havenots is unsustainable when the haves leave. With a good majority of the houses in north BR paying little to nothing in property taxes due to homestead exemption, most of that area has been carried by St. George.

Stop rewarding negative behavior with free shite and the negative behavior will stop. It will be rough initially, but the leaches will eventually move out to find another tit to suck on that is not BR and the none leaches will get a job and pay their way.
