A parent who raised their child(ren) to adulthood owes their child(ren) nothing. If an adult believes they are entitled to their parents sucess means they were not raised properly. No adult deserves the right to tell another adult what to do with their money. I had aunts and uncles waiting on my grandparents to die so they could plan the second half of their life....as a child, I knew that was wrong. I have always told my parents do what you want with your money and remind them all the time that they can't take it with them.
Now, would I absouletly love it if they decided to leave me some money, Hell yes. It would be awesome, I could be less stressed and help pay for my kids stuff. Now do I expect it and would I think any less of them if they left me zero? Hell no, I love my parents and they did a great job raising me so I could go out in this world and make it for myself and live my own life. For me to expect anything more from them at this stage in life is bonkers to me.

The $53 million just thrown in a trash can to BK could’ve went a long way to cleaning up north Baton Rouge.
Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said 'give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'.
We have given too many fish to north Baton Rouge and it has only gotten worse. Democrats are too empathetic to make the tough decisions necessary to maintain a safe and civil society. Throwing money at north baton rouge is just enabling that behavior, not correcting it.
Things will have to get worse before they get better... let the cuts begin.

Glaring example of too many takers and not enough givers. The democrat solution of taxing the haves and giving to the havenots is unsustainable when the haves leave. With a good majority of the houses in north BR paying little to nothing in property taxes due to homestead exemption, most of that area has been carried by St. George.
Stop rewarding negative behavior with free shite and the negative behavior will stop. It will be rough initially, but the leaches will eventually move out to find another tit to suck on that is not BR and the none leaches will get a job and pay their way.

half the parish is one big ghetto
LSU has done zero to improve education. They are lazer focused on enrolling as many kids as possible at the highest tuition price possible. That degree is being devalued like the dollar.
He has upside, but he seems more focused on playing TE or Basketball than playing OT. It would have been nice if he would have attended a camp somewhere to see how he does in one on ones but to my knowledge, he hasn't.

MS OL predicted to flip
SI had an article come out about Byson Cooley, they are predicting a flip to MS State soon. He is our best OL in this class imo.

didn't kelly put up 1million of his own $ for NIL? Do you think he follows through?
re: Former Kingfish Captain Cam Brown dies

He was my favorite king fish player by far... not suprised to learn that he was actually a good dude considering his reputation on the ice for being an enforcer. Not only would he throw down at the drop of a hat for teammate, He would almost always hand out sticks and pucks after games and stay for an autograph.
I'm sure there are bunch of Happy Gilmore esq types out there, driving crappy cars, playing for gas money just trying to keep the dream alive. But Cam was the first one I've seen first hand doing just that. He was always my OG Happy Gilmore. I saw the shitty car he got into after the games and I couldn't believe people would rather be living like that chasing the dream rather than hanging it up and getting a real job.
RIP Cam Brown!

The NCAA is now NFL jr. Teams now have GM's who controll player contracts, coaches don't have near as much say in the players they can or cannot keep. We need an NFL type coach to compete in this new NIL era.

Well the good news is, I got my codes. It only took 3-4 hours, but they did come via email. The bad news is, after entering all 10 codes, all I won was a free ice cream cone and some bullshite properties.
I did it once and it said it would send me 2 codes, still haven't gotten them yet. So, I decided to sign up 4 more times with the same info to get a total of 10 codes and hope they all roll in back to back rather than me waiting 30 minutes plus for each entry.
are you using the same email address every time?

It says time depends on volume of requests, I am still waiting on mine. I think us fattys of the OT crashed the site.

oh my, the clip of the LSU line shows 3 of the 5 lineman getting beat on one play! Both Tackles appear to lack engagement because they have no confidence and RG just got pushed straight back into the pocket. yikes!
I literally just ordered two ring doorbells off of amazon, then came to check out the OT and this is the first thread that popped up.
My thoughts on surveillance is, I don't have shite to hide so I'm not worried about it. Also, my phone and watch listens to everything I say and tracks where I am 247 so I really don't know how much more incriminating these camreas would be for me.
For anyone to get off the grid, you would have to ditch any modern vehicle, smart watch, phone, credit cards, and wear facial coverings at all business. Just isn't a reality for me.
