where do you find the GOES 16 image of the Gulf? I can only find images of CONUS and US regions.
I use College of DuPage NEXLAB LINK

That storm is just kinda chilling right now. the tracks have changed, but the storm itself is kinda static right now.

Drove down to end of hoo shoo too earlier. Amite water coming over the road in some places but perhaps that's normal out that far?

How will this affect the fishing? Planning a trip around the 1st.
first, no one cares about your fishing trip.
second, the fishing will be fine once all this crap clears up and the wind stops blowing.

how is it that so many models were off with this thing.
The original models were when the system was still on the other side of the yukaton(sp) and hadn't formed a center of circulation at all.
Pretty sure they guys posting on here said it could go all over the place and the spaghetti models were pretty wide open.

Looks like a healthy convective bloom slowly working toward SELA. With her still struggling to keep storms near the center, it seems like we'll see cycles of heavy rain with lulls. What do you think?

So if you were a gambling man and had to fly from San Antonio to Atlanta, can I go back on Thursday or would that just be a day of sitting in the airport and I should plan on Friday?

Seriously? Where are you getting that?
Wasn't the BR Flood 1-2" per hour?

You ever been to the end of hoo shoo too?
quite banjo-ish. The only other time I drove back there was before the march 2016 flooding, and the little horseshoe road looked the same then, as well. I don't think it takes much.
