How long is the system causing the wind shear going to be around?

I was gonna start its own thread about it but figured calling out other posters is frowned upon in this establishment.
But if someone else wants to do it...

From the latest advisory:
"RAINFALL: Cindy is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 6 to 9 inches with isolated maximum amounts of 12 inches over southeastern Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle through Thursday. This rainfall could cause
life-threatening flash flooding in these areas."
And it appears the track has been shifted slightly westward again.

Wish whoever did that would've typed it a little more peej-esque. Still great.

Is that another shift west?

This thread got derailed bad, but it was so worth it.

What effect do y'all think the amount of uncollected debris in and around BR/DS will have on potential flooding? Could 5" do 10" of damage if the rivers and canals have debris clogging them?

I can't speak to why, but I have the 1PM update still up in another tab, and this is certainly a shift west of that estimation.

I know it is slim but what are the chances this thing keeps drifting due west keeping most of the heavier rain offshore?
Posted on 6/20/17 at 3:50 pm to deuce985
Flying back to BTR from Omaha in the morning. What are the chances I get stranded at DFW? As of right now we are supposed to be back in BR at 11:15.

Yes, it shifted west, which isn't surprising with the Euro being to the west and a significant number of GFS ensamble members going that way as well.
Oh and peej won the internet today.
