Vote was 5-2… with Weimer (shocking…not) and Guidry dissenting.
Yes. The governor goes to football games.

I’ve got news for news for you, the governor’s security detail gets paid regardless if he goes to the game or stays at the mansion, so the taxpayers pay the same amount.

(Tell me you have no clue what you’re talking about without telling me you have no clue what you’re talking about…)
We live in a representative republic. We literally elect them to legislate.

If you want them to contact you about every vote, that would be a democracy.

When you’re leading (Letlow), you don’t debate.

Save the “ voters should hear from both sides” crap.
This isn’t civics. This is the real world.
I’m not wrong. But you do you.
You shouldn’t wear the literal flag. That’s what is prohibited.

Bathing suits and other clothing depicting the flag are not actual flags.
Learn the difference.

Try the Wal Mart Great Value brand.

Tried a box on a whim and they have more filling and are actually decent in taste and amount of filling… the cherry ones anyway.
No sitting R with a functioning brain challenges a sitting Governor who will have over $15M cash on hand by election day.

They won’t be able to raise anywhere close to what’s needed…
That’s just political reality.

Landry for the win.
Rather easily too.
Who f’in cares?
Win the damn game.

Nothing else matters.

Alabama has 2,147 national titles. Why?
Because they never change uniforms and don’t worry about uniforms.
They worry about winning. Period.
There are term limits now.

They are called elections.

Downvote away, but I’m not wrong.
You must be dense. It’s called the court system and other parties involved. They can’t move unilaterally.

But keep bitching without any knowledge on a message board.
In any drawing, first thing you have to do is give Johnson and Scalise whatever they want because they hold the two highest positions in the US House.

Then you draw the other four with what’s left. If you draw six R districts, you put Scalise in a marginal R district that he’d have a fight every two years.

Ain’t worth it. Give Ds one to make sure Scalse is in a solid R.

That’s how the numbers work.

Take all the crap about commonality and equality and common interest and throw all that in the trash.

This ain’t civics. This is real life. And real politics.
A message?

He just elected a new US Senator by toppling a sitting incumbent.
Maybe he sent a message.

And no, no one is beating him next year.
Say hello to Senator Letlow.. :nana:
