If you’d read my post at the top,of page 5, it explains why NLA can’t be one big district.
Yeah, write your Rep and Senator.
That’ll do it.

Fact - the beginning premise of any new map is to preserve the re- election of Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise, the Speaker of the House and the House Majority Leader.

This ain’t a civics book about fairness and commonality and all that crap.

This is real life.

After those two needs have been addressed you then move to make sure that there’s a district that Letlow can win in if she loses the Senate race.

Why?

Because Letlow sits on the Appropriations Committee, which is a huge deal for the state.

After those three criteria are met, the rest is just internal politics between legislators, etc.

That’s my governor!
He handled that about as well as can be expected.
New Coke only replaced old Coke becuase the patent was getting ready to expire. Introduce new Coke, wait a while, phase it out, come back with the old as Coca Cola Classic… voila…another 100 years on the patent ingredients.
Yes, four times.
The experience is completely different depending on where your seats are.
Everyone who wants to replace Landry forgets one important fact…Whoever tries to defeat Landry better come with $15 million.

Minimum.

…and no one out there has that ability to raise that kind of money.

Raising money to that amount is very difficult and Landry will start 2027 with close to $20 million in the bank.

So again, the answer is no one.
Bitch and complain when they don’t repave roads.
Bitch and complain when they do repave roads.

Ridiculous.

Thank you Governor Landry…. laws/reforms put in place in 2024 are beginning to take effect.
Can’t upvote OP enough.

Straight facts whether you like it or not or want to admit it or not.
A lot of y’all were taught civics by football coaches…and it shows.

We whip their arse beacuase that’s when it matters. Not some random Wednesday in March.
Then change the U.S. Constitution.

The House was envisioned as the “ people’s house”, hence, no residency requirement.

However, the U.S. Senate does have a residency requirement.
No residency requirement to run for a U.S. House seat.
No residency requirement to hold a seat in the U.S. House.
Why can’t people just be happy when something positive happens?
There’s $1B in savings in state government and people now complain about where did it go?, etc.

Nothing gets done? People complain.
Something like this gets done ? People still complain.

Geez. People cant be happy or positive about anything these days.
