Oh well. Bunch of G Wagons and Cybertrucks from the sanctuary will get smashed.
Good thing rich boys driving most of them instead of their plastic Sophisticated Woman Milf.

The one in BR is still a pain in the arse to check out at typically

Gotta really monitor the situation before I decide to go in

And this week? No way I’ll approach that joint

So how is Trader Joe’s in comparison to Sam’s or Costco?

Anything would be better than it was...

That was one of the worst, sorryass, lack of decent construction I've ever seen.

Drive-by gypsies do better work.

Every time I go to a Trader Joe's it looks like a riot has broken out in there. So I try to stay away as much as possible (unless the wife or kid need cookie butter)

Sams and Costco= normal groceries in bulk

I heard that's the only real reason to go there.

The line outside looked like they were giving something away this morning. People were wrapped all the way around Dollar Tree pre-opening.

People go crazy for those canvas bags. They get listed on ebay for like thousands of dollars.

Trader Joe's near me just isn't worth it. Way too many people shopping, but also people just there to walk around. It's annoying.

I saw a lot of younger women in England using them. I ask if they had Trader Joes and people said they don't but their bags are a fashion trend. Odd.

The business model is smart. It's mainly that they do "store brand" versions of higher quality brand name items and price them the same price as lower quality brands at regular supermarkets.

Whole Foods has tried to copy this concept with their 365 Brand.

Trader Joe's problem has always been it's popularity. They're usually so crowded.

Boy #1 sometimes checks out a plane from the pool and we fly down to the cities to pick up a few things.Duluth (where we live) is a culinary wasteland, so don't at me with "that stuff sucks". The are people here who think ketchup is spicy.

Ginger snaps (with actual chucks of ginger)
Dark Chocolate peanut butter cups
Hatch Green Chile salsa
Green Goddess dressing
Dried Mangoes
Occasional (used to be) 2 Buck Chuck

These are the staples.

Trader Joe’s is basically Aldi.

Is Trader Joe’s any better than Aldi or Rouses? Some posters on here talked up Aldi like it was the best thing going, then the last holdouts of Winn Dixie in Louisiana closed. After that happened, it was either Aldi or Rouses and I would definitely prefer our old Winn Dixie over either one of those two stores.

It's comparable to Aldi honestly.
