It’s true, Apple CarPlay doesn’t work in any car. It’s always crap, even though it’s a nice idea

How are GMC and Chevy so far apart? It is the same thing.

I’ve gone through a number of Volvos and can tell you the current two are absolute dog shite. Quality has gone way down over the past 10 years

Honda is not what they were 10 years ago.

The CRV and Pilot engines blowing up has hurt them considerably.

How are Chevy and GMC on opposite ends when they’re the same damn truck?
my sister (no pics) had tons of trouble with her GMC Acadia - nothing with her Traverse

Everything from JD Power should be viewed skeptically.
1) it’s well known that their ratings are for sale to the highest bidder
2) they rely on a lot of self reported issues
3) they do a poor job of ranking issues, meaning Car Play being weird and annoying is ranked similarly to a transmission falling out of the car on the highway.

100%

While not perfect Consumer Reports is still the best place to get this broad information. JDP is always in the news because they make their money on the back end from manufacturers and do constant press releases whereas CR keeps their info behind a paywall because that is how they make their money: from consumers instead of the brands.

Random, annoying dropouts are a common complaint.

Do they even make vehicles with a Chrysler badge anymore? Is it just the 300 and the minivan now?

I can't remember the last time I saw an ad or commercial for a Chrysler.

Its just the Pacifica (minivan) now.

The 300 was killed last year.

Yep not surprised. Our Lexus GX460 by far the most reliable vehicle we have ever owned.

Can’t have a bunch of Car Play complaints if you don’t have Car Play. Mine still calls my phone an iPod when I plug it in.

I'm not impressed with Mopar after foreign ownership took over.

I’m on my second es350 and they’re great. First had over 200k miles. I want a truck but all of the service I read about in these threads scares the crap out of me and I don’t want a Tundra because the mpg sucks.

Its not bad, it ends up being about 2.5-3.0 hours per day for me driving.

It’s been worth it.

Yeah - that's not right.

Honda is not the company they once were.

-Too much dependence on sub-suppliers they have no control over.
-Trying to capture emerging markets in Asia and India instead of focusing on quality in all markets.

It's been a long fall from grace but the products are not as reliable or well designed as they once were.
