I liked Ikari Warriors 2 better. Loved Rygar. Now I have the Rygar music stuck in my head.

This old chiptune hits me every now and then, it's probably the only song I know since I can't get past Stage fricking 1 of this hard arse game

Speaking of random NES music that enters my mind at weird times, this banger often lives in my head rent free, too

Finally, to finish my brief NES music spam, this has been one of my phone alarms for many years now. The only thing missing is the AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA when the boss health meter fills up. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I remember getting it for Christmas. Still remember the games I got: Super Mario Bros., Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, 10-Yard Fight, and Kung Fu. Stayed in the basement for weeks on end and barely came up to eat.

I have an entire playlist on YouTube devoted to the awesomeness of the Mega Man series. So many great tunes, though I think the one you posted is probably the best.

I hate to be that guy but it's "Tecmo Super Bowl". I saw it wrong like 4 times on this thread. Anyways, I rented that game so many times I probably could have owned 10+ copies of it.

Baseball Stars
Flying Dragon
Kid Icarus

You have to be able to land on the carrier and link with the refueling plane. Even following the directions, that is a bitch.

Don’t follow them.
There’s a numerical altitude and speed requirement that is shown under the directions. You get that correct and you land every time.

Used or brand new? I remember my godfather bought two when they were on sale for $89. I wonder if he still has the other.

NeoGeo

I can remember being at Babbages in mall in 1991 and a Falcons player can’t remember who was buying this system and all 7 games that were available. I was just stunned at the time because it was fricking expensive I think just the games were like $300 a piece and system was like $700. Had very few games but that system was way ahead of everyone else at the time.

The king of "holy frick that's expensive" was the 3DO, IIRC

And, unlike NeoGeo, the 3DO sucked monkey balls. I feel bad for the 8 children who got a 3DO

Having Super Mario Bros at home was like stepping out of the stone ages into an advanced space age. I literally could not believe how great it was.

Zelda
Metroid
Tetris
Kid Icarus
Castlevania
Punch Out
Excitebike
