That sucks.

When my daughter was about 3, we'd be in the truck and she'd laugh and sing to "Wanta Talk About Me". For some reason that song just cracked her up, and brought me a lot of joy watching her laugh through my rearview mirror.

RIP Toby.

No one is downvoting the news about Toby Keith…that really sucks. People see your handle and it’s an automatic downvote, you big baby

Never forget when he came to Iraq and played a concert for us. For a couple hours we forgot where we were. Rest in peace and thanks.

GFY

Anyone that downvotes anyone's death, especially if it's from cancer, is a POS and you defending said POS makes you just as big of a POS. Karma is real, brother.

Thanks for the memories Toby and helping make growing up in the 90s and 2000s some of the best times ever.

An epidemiological study in south Texas in the 1988 period linked an increase in stomach cancer to BBQ Brisket. Apparently the smoking process lays down Nitrates on the meat.

In 2005 Toby Keith signed then high school student Taylor Swift to a record label.

quote:

One thing that stands out from this early interview is her talking about Toby Keith and the early support she had from him. Toby Keith was instrumental in getting her signed as a virtual unknown to the record label that would become Big Machine Records. That one move kicked off a career that most artists can only dream of.

Taylor Swift played her first show at Lafayette's Cajundome as an opening act on January 11, 2006.

Aw hell

Got to meet him VERY briefly at a pro-am a few years back. He jokingly(I think?) asked for a roach clip as he was walking off one of the greens headed to the next tee box.

Awesome guy. I loved his music growing up and spent many car rides with my mom jamming out to his songs.

He will be missed.

Dream Walkin was my jam in High School. Had one of the best opening lines

“She left a yellow rose and a long neck bottle on a table beside my bed,
with a short little note that said I had a good time, it was written in lipstick red”

7 out of 100,000 get stomach cancer
3 in 100,000 die as result

The key to surviving stomach cancer is early detection

It requires an endoscopic screening

But the things is that by the time you have symptoms it has significantly progressed to the advanced stages

There is no understanding of what causes stomach cancer other than family history is correlated as an indicator

RIP Big Dog Daddy
